이 논문은 일제강점기 재만 조선인 문학에 나타난 만주국 국책이념의 문학적 투영 양상에 관한 논의를 살펴보는 것을 궁극적 목적으로 한다. 재만조선인 문학은 1932년 일제에 의해 강제로 수립된 만주국의 정책이념과 근본 사상에 대한 상세한 이해 없이는 접근하기가 매우 어렵다. 그만큼 대다수의 재만 조선인 문학은 의식/무의식적으로 만주국의 국책사상 및 지배 이데올로기의 문제와 밀착되어 있다. 1990년대 이후 한국과 중국 학계에서 본격화된 재만 조선인 문학 연구는 양질의 차원에서 상당한 결과물을 축적했다. 그럼에도 불구하고 세부 논의의 차원에서는 심각한 불협화음을 내고 있다. 본고는 현재 재만 조선인 문학 연구에 나타난 이 같은 대립 현상이 기본적으로 일제강점기라는 시대적 특수성과 만주국의 지배정책에 대한 인식론적 차이에서 비롯된 것으로 판단한다. 뿐만 아니라 작가 작품에 대한 연구자들의 접근 태도와 방법론의 차이에서 발생한 것으로 본다. 이에 따라 본고에서는 논쟁의 중심부에 놓여 있는 주요 재만 시인의 작품을 우선적으로 검토하고 그들의 시편에 나타난 만주국 국책이념의 투영 양상 및 그 전반적 특성을 살펴보고자 했다. 심연수, 윤해영 등의 시인이 그 구체적 대상인데, 본고가 확인한 바로는 이들의 작품은 부분적으로 ‘오족협화’, ‘왕도낙토’ 등과 같은 만주국의 정책 이념에 동조한 혐의가 짙다. 그럼에도 선행연구는 이 작품들을 다소 관대하게 바라보고 있다. 아울러 이 과정에서 의미의 과잉 부여라는 오류를 범하고 있으며, 이는 문학사의 기원에 대한 일종의 강박증과 집착증에서 비롯됨을 확인했다. 뿐만 아니라 일부의 연구가 주제의식의 반복과 민족적 형식에 대한 집착으로 인하여 심각한 한계를 노출하고 있음을 비판적으로 제시하였다. 이러한 본고의 작업은 궁극적으로 재만 조선인 문학의 종합적 이해에 도달하기 위한 예비적 작업의 일환이다. The purpose of this research is to reconsider the established discussion on literary projection of the national policy ideology of Manchuria, shown in Korean Manchu literature during the Japanese colonial era. It is difficult to take an approach on Korean Manchu literature without a thorough understanding of the national policy ideology and literary projection of Manchuria forcefully established by Japanese in 1932. In this regard, most of Korean Manchu literature is found to be closely related to the issues on national policy ideology and literary projection of Manchuria. The research on Korean Manchu literature which had been accelerated in Korean and Chinese academia since 1990’s had accumulated substantial amount of outcomes. Nevertheless, there has been discord when the discussion gets down to details. This research considers that this conflict which is shown in Korean Manchu literature has been occurred due to the periodical characteristics of Japanese colonial era and each different epistemological understanding. Moreover, it could have been raised from the difference in approaching attitude and methodology of the researchers to the literature. In this regard, this research had put priorities in reviewing the works of the major Manchu poets, which is the point of this discussion, and then it will understand the national policy ideology and literary projection of Manchuria and overall characteristics shown in their poems. Shim, Yeon-Su and Yoon, Hae-Young are the major poets and this research had found that they may be accused of agreeing the national policy ideology of Manchuria including ‘Harmony of Five Races’, ‘Royal Road and Paradise’ and ‘General Mobilization System’. Nevertheless, the previous researches had been ‘tolerant’ to these works and it had caused the error of ‘exaggeration’. This should be handled in higher priority by Korean Manchu literature researchers in the near future. On the other hand, the work of this research shall be regarded as a preparatory work for having a better understanding in Korean Manchu literature.
