사면붕괴의 위험성이 있는 다양한 실계측 데이터들이 토목기술자들에게 주어졌지만 이를 해석, 가공 후 실시간 사면거동양상을 분석하고 사면안정에 대한 결론을 유도하는 일은 결코 쉬운 일이 아니다. 최근 많은 연구기관들이 실시간 계측시스템을 위험 사면 현장에 설치하고 이를 계측하고 있으나, 대부분이 하드웨어 시스템의 설치에 초점을 맞추고 있어 이들 계측시스템에서 구한 실시간 계측자료를 해석하는 소프트웨어는 상대적으로 약하다고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 이 연구는 시간에 따라 변위가 지속적으로 증가하는 사면거동에 대한 계측자료들이 서로 어떤 상호관련성이 있고 군집화되는지를 보여주고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 실시간 계측자료들을 분류함에 있어 저자들은 세 가지의 수학적 개념을 사용하고자 한다. 즉 평균변위차지수(AD?,?), 평균상대변위차(RDSUB>?,?) 및 평균상대좌표시스템(RD, AD)을 사용하고자 한다. 이 세 가지 개념은 통계학적 방법 및 사면파괴거동에 토대를 두고있다. 그러므로 이 방법들은 파괴거동을 일으키는 같은 대상 사면영역의 군집특성을 보여준다. Civil engineers have taken the numerous slope monitoring data for an engineering project subjected to hazard potential of slide. However, the topics on how to deal with and draw out proper information from the data related to the slope behavior have not been widely discussed. Recently, several researchers had installed the real-time monitoring system to cope with slope failure; however they are mainly focused on the hardware system installation. Therefore, this study tries to show how the measured data could be grouped and connected each other. The basic idea of analyzing method studied in this paper came from the clustering, which is the part of data mining analysis. Therefore, at the base of classification of time series data, the authors suggest three mathematical data analyzing methods; Average Index of different displacement (AD?,?), Difference of average relative displacement (RD?,?) and Coordinate system of average and relative displacement (RD, AD). These analyzing methods are based on the statistical method and failure mechanism of slope. Therefore they showed clustering relationships of the similar parts of the slope which makes the same sliding mechanism.
전립선비대증의 치료로 Sildenafil과 Finasteride 병용요법의 안전성 및 유효성

Purpose: The 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (5ARI) are one of the most commonly used medications for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitors are also used to treat BPH. 5ARI is a drug with adverse effects of sexual dysfunction. In this study, we investigated the safety and efficacy of coadministration of finasteride and sildenafil on sexual function and lower urinary symptoms in patients with BPH. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients who were receiving finasteride and sildenafil daily regimens for treatment of BPH in 2 university hospitals. Patients with adverse effects, vital sign, physical exam, laboratory test, 5-item version of the international index of erectile function (IIEF-5), International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), quality of life (QoL) were analyzed. Results: The number of patients analyzed in this study was 218. The mean age of the patients was 62.63±8.37 years and the mean duration of medication was 18.23±10.97 weeks. Significant changes were not observed in the vital signs measured before and after the drug administration. Compared with before treatment, improvement of lower urinary tract symptom (IPSS: 17.56±4.21 vs. 11.64±5.33, p<0.001) was observed and improvement of sexual function (IIEF-5: 9.44±5.21 vs. 12.73±6.81, p<0.001) was also confirmed. Conclusions: Daily coadministration of finasteride and sildenafil for the treatment of BPH could be used safely, and improvement of lower urinary tract symptom as well as improvement of sexual function could be expected.

For underwater vehicles, the use of sensors such as cameras and laser scanners is limited by the difference in environment compared to robots designed to work on dry land. In underwater environments, if use is made of sound signals, valuable information can be obtained. The most important application is the localization of underwater sound sources. The estimated location of a sound source can be used to control underwater robots or submarines. Thus, the purpose of this research is to estimate the source’s direction and location in a noisy underwater environment. The direction of the sound source is obtained using two hydrophones. Furthermore, if we assume that the robot or sound source is moving, the location of the sound source is estimated using more than two estimated directions. The feasibility of the developed algorithm is examined by experiments in a water tank and in the ocean.

Stroke, a representative senile disease, causes functional disorders such as sensation, perception, cognition, language, and exercise, and 70%-75% of them cause chronic physical dysfunction as an aftereffect. Even in exercise disorders, upper extremity function damage is the most common aftereffect, and continuous rehabilitation exercises are required within a short period. This study developed an upper extremity exercise rehabilitation treatment device using mechanical driving. A device performing finger and wrist rotation and extension exercises using mechanical driving was developed. A 2D design of the device was constructed using the AutoCAD program, and 3D shape modeling was performed using the CATIA program. In addition, the structural parts were improved, and elbow rehabilitation exercise functions were added. A structural analysis was conducted using ANSYS to evaluate the safety of the designed product. Material settings for each part and mesh grid were generated, and analysis was performed after defining the boundary conditions. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the product would withstand a sufficient load, and the deformation that appeared at this time would not pose a problem with the use of the product. Finally, a prototype was manufactured to determine the assembly and operability of the product. As a result of the prototyping, the assembly and operation were performed smoothly.
