반추가축영양 : 한방제재 첨가급여가 한우송아지의 성장, 혈액성상 및 설사에 미치는 영향

The current study was conducted to determine the effects of herbal supplement on growth performances and diarrhea in Hanwoo calves. Total 24 Hanwoo calves(3 treatments: 8 calves per treatment) were randomly assigned to either Control(no treatment), Treatment 1(0.3% herb supplement), or Treatment 2(0.5% herb supplement) diets for 150 days. Total body weight gain and total feed intake per head in Treatment 1 was 142.8 kg and 545.9 kg, respectively, and it was higher(p<0.05) compared to other groups. The blood total cholesterol range was 86.43~97.00mg/dl, triglycerides 13.26~13.86mg/dl, GOT 76.97~79.60mg/dl, GPT 19.54~20.97mg/dl, WBC 8.75~9.95 k/㎕, RBC 10.14~11.91 M/㎕, and hemoglobin 10.74~11.20 g/㎗, respectively, with no significant (p>0.05) differences among treatments. The blood immunoglobulin G levels were 5.74~6.05mg/ml which tended to decrease as experimental period extended. Total number of pathogens in feces showed peaks at 1~2 months after the initiation of experiment, and tended to decrease thereafter. Total number of Eimeria spp., E. coli and BVDV in feces showed no significant differences but control group showed higher counts than both treatment groups. During overall period, the incidence of pathogenic diarrhea in calves of 2 treatment groups was much lower than control group calves(C: 24, vs T1: 9, T2: 13 heads), however, it was not significant(p>0.05). In conclusion, supplementation of herbs in Hanwoo calf diets might be beneficial to improve growth performances and prevent diarrhea.

본 연구는 농후사료의 조단백질 수준이 거세한우의 육질에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 한우 거세 송아지 30두를 공시하여, 비육단계별 육성기, 비육전기 및 비육후기에 농후사료의 조단백질 수준을 대조구는 육성기;14%, 비육전기;13% 및 비육후기;11%, 처리구는 육성기;16%, 비육전기;15% 및 비육후기;14%로 하여 도체특성, 육질의 이화학적 특성 및 지방산 조성을 분석하였다. 육질등급에서는 대조구 대비 처리구에서 근내지방도가 유의적(p<0.05)으로 향상되었고, 육질등급을 점수화하여 환산한 결과로는 약 15.6% 정도가 처리구에서 개선되는 경향을 보였다. 도체의 이화학적 특성에서는 처리구에서 수분과 조단백질의 경우 감소하고 조지방은 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 지방산 조성 중 단일불포화지방산 및 올레인산에서 처리구가 대조구 대비 유의적(p<0.05)으로 증가하였다. 따라서, 본 시험의 결과로 육성 및 비육기때 농후사료내 조단백질 수준을 증가시키면 근내지방도, CIE 값의 명도, 올레인산 및 단일불포화지방산에서 유의적(p<0.05)으로 개선되었다. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of different crude protein levels in the concentrates on carcass and meat quality of Hanwoo steers. A total of thirty 5.3-month-old castrated Hanwoo calves(135.6±10.52kg) were randomly allocated into either control or treatment group. The animals were separately housed to 5 heads per group. Crude protein levels in concentrates for growing, fattening, and finishing phases were 14, 13, and 11% for control group and 16, 15, and 14% for treatment group respectively. Comparative analysis of carcass characteristics, physico-chemical characteristics, and fatty acid composition in M. longissimus dorsi of Hanwoo steers were carried out. There was no statistical difference in average cold carcass weight between control(411.9kg) and treatment(419.9kg) group. Also, dietary crude protein level in concentrates did not affect M. longissimus dorsi area, backfat thickness, and meat yield index. In contrast, the marbling score in treatment group was higher(p<0.05) than the control group. Also, treatment group showed significantly higher(p<0.05) values than control group for CIE L-value, Mono-unsaturated fatty acids and oleic acid composition. Therefore increasing crude protein levels of concentrates in Hanwoo steers during growing and fattening phases might be beneficial for the improvement of meat quality.

The following is the summary of the conclusion of the study on anti-static finishing of polyester fabrics: 1) Copolymer of polyethylene glycol polyethylene terephthlate is appropriate as an anti-static finishing agents of polyester fabrics, and it is also excellent in the anti-static behavior after treatments to friction, weather-o-meter and laundering. 2) Glyoxal resin is more excellent in the anti-static behavior than melamine resin, and it is also excellent in the retaining anti-static behavior after treatments to friction, weather-o-mether, and laundering. 3) As the condition of curing treatment, 180℃, 2 minutes for glyoxal resin, and 150℃, 5 minutes for melamine resin is appropriate respectively.

Lately, interior fabrics, such as carpet, curtain, table cloth, seat and bed cover, are produced in domestic textile industry, and the uses are increasing continuously. The purpose of this study is to improve the characteristics of curtain cloth, and then this research has been done to select the suitable materials and to find the desirable properties for curtain cloth. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) For material of curtain cloth, polyester fibre is the most suitable. 2) To improve thermal property of curtain cloth, thin cloth is effective at high density and thick cloth is effective at high bulk. 3) To improve antistatic property of polyester cloth, it is effective to cure at high temperature for a short time after dipping in the solution of Permalose TM and Glyoxal resin.
