韓國人 男, 女 中·高等學生의 短距離 疾走 能力에 關하여
李文杰,朱永恩 경북대학교 의학연구소 1969 慶北醫大誌 Vol.10 No.1
The present author measured the speed of running in the male an female students of Korean high school by the modified electrical timing method of Hill et al. Iron solenoids were placed along the side of the 100 meter running track at 1,3,6,10,15,22,30,50,50,70,80,90 and 100 meters from the starting point. Each time a runner with a strong magnet fastened at his waist passed one of the solenoids, the solenoid induced a current which was recorded on the recorder. In this way the time when a runner passes each point was accurately recorded. The subjects consisted of 54 male students from 12 to 17 in age, and 49 female students from 13 to 18 in age, and also 12 male athletes and 13 female athletes with total number of 128. The author plotted the velocity curve in running and further calculated maximal speed, rate of acceleration, propelling force, power and rate of deceleration on the basis of the above recordings. Comparison was made between non-trained and trained. The results are as follows: 1. Maximal speed.: The maximal speed was found to be 8.20m/sec in the male athletes and 7.51 m/sec in the female athletes, while in both male and female non-athletes, it was lower as compared with the athletes. Male students showed a gradual increase of the maximal speed with age while female students did not show the similar increase with age. 2. Propelling force: In male students, the propelling force was improved in advancing of age closely related to the development of the muscular strength, while the improvement was not as clear in the female students as in those of male. 3. Power: In male students, the power at start was found to be improved in advancing of age closely related to the development of the muscular strength and surpassed 1 HP (75kg./m/sec) in the 15years of age or more. In contrast, the female students showed lesser improvement in power and did not surpass 1 HP in all age groups. 4. Rate of deceleration: The decrease of speed of running, as presented by percentage of the maximal speed at the end of running, was below 10% in male students of 15 or more of age, whole from 12 to 10% in the female students. In male athletes, it was 3.6%, and in female it was 1.1% which were markedly reduce rates of deceleration as compared with that of non-trained.

Global Positioning System(hereafter; GPS) is recently an essential element in the various navigation and weapon delivery systems of military aircraft. However, GPS is vulnerable to the jamming threats since its signal power is very weak. Therefore, ROK defense has been concerning how to resolve this issue and how to integrate these systems needed, and is trying to acquire the proper anti-jamming GPS system. This study is to provide several schemes against the jamming threats effectively. We propose the several processes to analyze the required capability and demonstrate the result's of modeling and simulations(hereafter; M&S) for this integration of military aircraft, and the mathematical programming model for system optimization of military aircraft anti-jamming GPS system on the basis analysis of M&S results which could be considered available budget and the project characteristic. These schemes will be helpful on proper acquisition of these systems and. We are looking forward to contributing to the integration of anti-jamming GPS system of ROK military aircraft.

It is very crucial activities that Korean army have to detect and recognize enemy’s locations and types of weapon of their artillery firstly for effective operation of friendly force’s artillery weapons during wartime. For these activities, one of the most critical artillery weapon systems is the anti-artillery radar (hereafter; radars) for immediate counter-fire operations against the target. So, in early wartime these radar’s roles are very important for minimizing friendly force’s damage because arbiters have to recognize a several enemy’s artillery positions quickly and then to take an action right away. Up to date, Republic of Korea Army for tactical artillery operations only depends on individual commander’s intuition and capability. Therefore, we propose these radars allocation model based on integer programming that combines ArcGIS (Geographic Information System) analysis data and each radar’s performances which include allowable specific ranges of altitude, azimuth (FOV; field of view) and distances for target detection, and weapons types i.e., rocket, mortars and cannon ammo etc. And we demonstrate the effectiveness of their allocation’s solution of available various types of radar asset through several experimental scenarios. The proposed model can be ensured the optimal detection coverage, the enhancement of artillery radar’s operations and assisting a quick decision for commander finally.
