        Project Financing(PF) was introduced from the way of banks’ conditional financing that take buried oil as security and offer required money to oil explores which have weak loaning ability in the U.S. 1930s. After that PF has developed with financial market and it has been activated in the market of Korea since ‘An Institution about Private Financing Invitation Promotion’ was established. Started with I-Hwa Ryoung tunnel project, Pf has been used in the Metropolitan Area Airport Highway and etc. But because of the risk that occurred by PF’s complexity and uncertainty, PF has not been used fully and there are only few practical examples. The purpose of the present study is to investigate how to decrease, identify and extract the risky factors of project that being planned by PF.

        신도시 개발후의 춘천시 도시공간구조 예측에 관한 연구

        This study proposes to predict the changes and characteristics of the spatial configuration after the new town development by performing objective and quantitative analysis on the urban spatial configuration through Space Syntax. And then it combines the results with urban statistical data and qualitative analysis. It is summarized as follows. ① With regard to the U-du new town project, the outputs of Space Syntax over Chun-cheon as a whole and its key areas in particular are the same before and after the development. It is concluded that, as this district is originally designed to be isolated and without no link with the Old Downtown, the development will have little effect on the urban configuration of the Old Downtown and the City as a whole. ② If the U-du new town project is accompanied by the development of Camp Page and its neighboring areas so it comes to have an effective road system with its center of the Old Downtown, it will give, in the aspect of urban spatial configuration, much importance and more easier access to all these areas and even Toe-gye new town as well whose organic road system links itself with these areas. ③ If we carry out both the new town project and the road system plan in 2020 Master Plan for Chun-cheon city, it is expected that, as the internal circular road system is organically connected with the Old Downtown and the completion of the external circular road system makes the road system of the entire city much more effective, the urban spatial configuration of Chun-cheon as a whole will have a more integrated unity.

        춘천시 도시공간구조의 변화와 특성에 관한 연구

        Applying objective and quantitative spatial analysis methods derived from Space Syntax theories, this study analyzes changing the characteristic of urban spatial configuration to urban sprawl and connects to the qualitative analysis of statistical data. The results are as follows. First, the Chun-Cheon city which had been developed to the south and north axis in the 60s and to the south and east axis in the 70s represented mono-nuclear configuration until the 80s. Even though the development of the new town in the 90s brought changes to the urban spatial configuration, the center of spatial configuration was resolved itself into the old downtown area through building a roads which had the organic relation to it in the 2000s. Second, although the Chun-Cheon city's old downtown has been declined due to the decrement of business and population rate, its importance and accessibility are keep still maintained Third, even though the new downtown has been built up because of the increment of business and population rate, it is not separated into the old and new downtown but integrated properly. Fourth, the result of analysis analyzed by using the principal road scheme drawing of 2020 master plan for chun-cheon city will be expected to improve the importance and accessibility of the old downtown.

        춘천시 공공시설의 보행접근을 위한 네트워크 구축에 관한 연구

        This study analyzed the accessibility and service area of public spaces and facilities to develop pedestrian network in Chuncheon city based on GIS and Space Syntax. The followings are the results; Firstly, as reviewing the analysis, the service area ratio by public spaces and facilities is low approximately 20% in Chuncheon city. It present the access of public area is not smooth and the accessibility analysis also shows disconnection between service area and street having high accessibility at some public facilities. So It is demanded development of pedestrian network and consturction of new public facilities to improve them. Secondly, as reviewing the analysis by administrative district, despite high service area ratio, the street having high accessibility is lack to connect between inner and outer area of administrative district at adjacent district to CBD. So these districts are needed development of main pedestrian mall on the inside. Especially, though Seoksa and Toegye districts have high population and facility density, service area ratio is low. So It is demanded improvment of connection with neighbor area or movement of public facility to another area because the access is not smooth. Thirdly, districts where located in the boundary of urban area present low service area ratio. Especially Geunhwa and Hyoja 2 districts have streets having high accessibility but it is not easy to access the public spaces and facilities because the service area is unequal distribution due to Camp Page site and university. Therefore These districts should be improved a connection of pedestrian network and developed large sites such as Camp Page and university to access the general public.

        춘천시 도로와 보행가로 체계의 비교분석

        This study analyzed accessibility by vehicles and pedestrians through comparing between the road system and pedestrian network in Chuncheon city and this also presents regional characteristics to utilize as basic planning data. The followings are the results; Firstly, the road system of Chuncheon city presents high accessibility focused on the principal arterial, beltway around Chuncheon, and it is well linked to subordinate road systems, while the pedestrian network presents the roads which have high accessibility are dispersed throughout the urbanized area. This shows they have different path system according to the using method. Secondly, the road system has a higher superordinate axial line rate at the major arterial than the pedestrian network. In contrast, the superordinate axial line rate is higher at the minor atrerial and collector road in pedestrian network. This shows connections between accessibility of pedestrians and roads such as minor atrerian and collector road. Thirdly, as reviewing the analysis by administrative district, areas where include roads having high accessibility and sidewalk rate could improve the road system and link between roads and public facilities, whereas areas where have low sidewalk rate should construct a pedestrian mall. If roads having high accessibility don't locate in the same place in road system and pedestrian network, it should be maximized function and efficiency each path system.

        춘천시 도시재생을 위한 문화시설 활용방법

        The purpose of this study is to find out an application method for urban regeneration using the analysis of present status and characteristics of the cultural facilities that can be the hub of cultural activities in Chuncheon city. As for the methods of the analysis, it is done by using 'space syntax' which allows to carry out the quantitative ways of analysing space. The result of this study is as follows; The cultural facilities of Chuncheon city's is centralized in a downtown area and the analysis value of the global integration is the result of 0.5722 within high position 30%, therefore Chuncheon has strength in accessibility of the whole city and a good possibility of revitalization. However, the highest analysis value of the local integration is the result of 1.2322 within high position 55% in a downtown area, so it produces what Chuncheon city needs in terms of connections amongst cultural and industry facilities. In the near future, the growth of the city will make lower accessibility between the whole city and cultural facilities. Therefore it is necessary to make the systematical plan for its improvement. Thus, the connectional type is the most suitable location form of the cultural facilities for urban regeneration in the future. Because the Chuncheon city's spatial configuration is centers on one downtown and the cultural facilities are centered on the southern side of the river district where local identity for the city would be made easier and potentially it can be much more efficient. Also there is a high possibility to enhance the urban economy through the connection from the industrial facilities in the downtown area.

        도시재생을 위한 문화시설 개발전략과 구성유형에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to find out the architectural planning element to revitalize the city by using cultural facilities through the case study of the regenerated cities which were using cultural facilities to understand the method of these composition. The city with a lot of cultural resources is in a better position to make the cultural images, so it promote strengthening and improvement strategy with making the new cultural facilities that can be the hub of the city. In these cities, the organizational types of cultural facilities in urban area are dispersed and linear type. It can improve the efficiency by organic connection with the new cultural facilities and historical culture resources for practical use. Also, it is important that citizen's affirmative recognition to the cultural heritage and cultural industry. And the city with few historical culture resources creates new cultural images and revitalizes itself by importing cultural facilities that can be the landmark of the city. In these cities, the organizational types of cultural facilities in urban area are the central and connectional type and it is so efficient for new born cultural cities to make new image. It has a merit to make tangible achievement in short period than dispersed and linear type. And it can revitalize the whole city by considering not only strengthening the specific region but also the connection of existing downtown.

        This study is to aim efficient planning through the change and characteristic of spatial configuration according to the growth of Kangwon National University at the campus and the adjacent area in Chuncheon. The results of this study are as follows; Firstly, in case of campus space, it has been expanded from the vertical axis to the whole campus including the horizontal axis and changing single space to multiple space. Secondly, in case of space for adjacent areas, it is progressing toward development of the campus. Especially, a variety of changes of the space are appearing from the entrance parts connected to outside. Thirdly, The plans of use facilities about necessary establishments each space and the entrances according to complicated spatial configuration should be researched later.

        Recently, construction industry has been magnified while various cooperative relationship makes steady process. So importance of management during construction is gathering strength. Therefore, we need systematic management gradually. But almost management of construction industry that performs these day is focused on construction phase not design phase. The purpose of the present study is to find the effective way of design management with enhancing the process of design phase.
