The performance decreases as the workers get older and the degree of decrease in the performance shows a marked difference depending on each individuals. On the other hand, the older workers tend to have better ability to adapt to the new working environments and expert skills. Our purpose in this paper is to focus on the analysis about this conflicting situation, thereby important informations are applied in designing working conditions of older workers. Experimental results show that the expert skill of the aged workers can be improved through the effective use of their experiences, therefore some operation can not be influenced by age.

This paper deals with a batch processor model in which the batch processing times depend on the jobs assigned to the batch. Each job has a distinct processing time which is determined as not the exact value but the range from the lower limit to the upper, which makes it possible to group several jobs into the same batch. In point of this flexibility our model can be referred to as the generalization of the bum-in model in which the upper limit of each job is unbounded. The jobs to be scheduled may be available nonsimultaneously. Therefore they have different ready times. We develop the model to describe the problem situation and the heuristic methods to minimize the total tardiness. And our batching rule is compared with other dispatching ones.

The paper deals with the assembly systems of the manufacturing process. It is well known fact that operational research and systems approach for the assembly systems have been worked out and the digital computers are used extensively to improve the efficiency of the systems. Studies are carried out to analyze algorithm of the assembly systems and line balancing problems. Detailed flowchart and computer programms are studied.

사고 위험성올 고려한 예측 및 의사결정 모형을 구축한다. 시스템을 즉시 운행중지 할 것인지 혹은 계획된 일정 기간을 더 운행 한 후 다시 의사결정을 내릴 것인지를 판단하는 방법론에 대해 연구한다. 의사결정을 내라는데 있 어시 비용 및 위험에 대한 새로운 정보가 입수되는 대로 이를 반영한다. 예측 오형을 통해 분석된 결과들을 활용해 보다 나은 의사결정을 내리는 방법에 대해 연구한다.

Anthropometric data serve as basic ergonomic data for diverse engineering applications Since breathing masks would depend largely upon accurates knowledge of facial geometry, it is necessary to have more systematic information. In this study, thirty SIX male subjects whose age range from 20 to 28, voluntarily participated the experiments at no financial compensation. Fourteen anthropometric variables were measured. They were basic anthropometric data for the head and face such as head length, head breadth and chine to top of head, etc. Cluster analysis was performed with these variables, and somatotyping was carried out to obtain four distinct types of face shape. we can get 85% confidence as a result.
산업용 의자의 등받이 설계를 위한 인체 형상 정보 획득에 관한 연구

The Object of sitting is the work performed in the seat. Workers should be in a state of non awareness of sitting. In otherwards workers should not feel any discomfort and the work performance should not be hampered due to the uncomfortable seating. Thus it is required to develop new design techniques and trainning methods that can be applied to sendentary works. The objective of this study is to develop morphological data aquisition system for industrial seat back. In this study, thirteen male subjects whose ages range from 22 to 28 are voluntarily involued. The data consists of basic anthropometric data for the human back such as sitting height, nape height and sacral height, etc., and also, 1377 variables are measured to the human back surface for morphological analysis. Furthermore, 3D human back surface reconstruction is attempted using mesh technique, one male subject who is selected the 95th percentage of the population.

According to the statistical data reported by the Ministry of Labor ergonomic injury in Korean industrial fields is increasing by 48 percents every years, but there has been little researches regarding the application of ergonomic approaches. The National Assembly has announced that it will enforce laws that manufacturers should take preventive measures against work-related MSDs of their employees.( July,2003) This paper suggests the ways that makes a workplace ergonomically safe, defines landmark ergonomic risk factors for the industry, selects suitable evaluating system, and shows some solutions for modifying unsafe conditions.

The objective of this research is to develop an Interactive Computerized Graphic Program for graphic output of velocity, acceleration and motion range of body=task reference point. Human motions can be reproduced by scanning(rate=60Hz) the videcon image, and the results are stored in a microcomputer memory. The results of this study can be extended to simulation and reproduction of human motions for optimal task design.

The length of lives of Korean people gets longer, on the other hand, the birth rate is decreasing, that was 130 in 2001. Therefore the ratio of old people in working industries is growing rapidly. The purpose of this study is to find the ways that make workplaces ergonomically safe for older workers. For such a purpose, the coordination tester(T.K.K 138) is used to find activity limitations. Following to the SAS outputs, the time required to draw TYPE Ⅱ curve among ages are significant. In other words, more ages needs more time to do. On the other hand, the times required to draw TYPE Ⅰ curve among ages are not significant.

Industrial Production of korea has developed rapidly not only in quantity but also in quality, that has driven korea into the world market. Thus korea confronts the need of new industrial districts, and constructing new factories of enlarging existing factories. Accordingly, chung cheong book do, dea jun and chung choeng nam do districts are arising new industrial districts. But, constructing or moving factories lead to new problems which were not found in old factory districts. Here, those problems are studied and analyzed through real proving method. The results are as followings. The quality control can be definde as improving and controlling the quality of goods to the level that can be agreeable to the request of demanders, with the lowest price, within the requested time.
