영유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실천역량과 놀이성, 교수몰입 간의 관계

본 연구는 영유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실천역량과 놀이성, 교수몰입 간의 관계와 놀이중심 교육과정 실천역량에 대한 놀이성과 교수몰입의 상대적 설명력을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 영유아교사 175명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고 분석한 결과, 영유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실천역량은 교수몰입과 놀이성의 하위요인인 타인지향성과 유의한 정적상관을 보였다. 특히 영유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실천역량에 있어 교수몰입의 설명력이 상대적으로 높게 나타나 놀이성과 같은 교사의 개인 내적인 성향보다는 교수몰입과 같은 교수적 측면이 중요함을 알 수 있다. 영유아교사의 놀이중심교육과정 실천역량을 증진시키기 위하여 교사몰입을 높일 수 있는 환경 조성 및 현직교육 프로그램을 개발하고 영유아교사가 타인지향적 놀이 경험을 할 수 있는 놀이학습공동체를 운영할 필요가 있음을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation, playfulness, and teaching flow of early childhood teachers, and the relative explanatory power of playfulness and teaching flow on competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation. For this aim, data were collected and analyzed from 175 early childhood teachers. The results were as follows. The competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation of early childhood teachers showed a significant positive correlation with teaching flow and other-orientation, which is a subfactor of playfulness. In addition, the explanatory power of teaching flow was relatively high in the competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation of early childhood teachers. This finding indicated that the teaching aspect such as teaching flow is more important than the teacher’s personal internal tendency such as playfulness in the competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation of early childhood teachers. This study suggests that in order to improve competency for play-oriented curriculum implementation of early childhood teachers, it is necessary to create an environment that can increase teacher immersion and develop an in-service education program, and to operate a play learning community where early childhood teachers can experience other-oriented play.
