In this study, the shallow water equations on the sphere is simulated by the proposed method which has high spatial resolution and is based on the CIP(Cubic Interpolated Pseudoparticle) method. The governing equations are approximated on the longitude-latitudinal coordinate system. To avoid the problems resulting from the convergence of the meridians toward high-latitude and singularities on the poles, the semi-Lagrangian and finite volume method are employed. In addition, the CIP method is employed to solve the advection equations and is extended to apply on the equations in the polar coordinate system. The mathematical formulation and numerical results are also described. To verify the efficiency, accuracy and capability of proposed algorithm, the standard test cases proposed by Williamson et. al are simulated and the results are compared with other results. As a result, it is found that the present scheme gives a good properties in preserving shapes of solution and settles the pole problems in solving the shallow water equations on the sphere.
치질 치료에서 Band Ligation과 Cryodestruction 효과에 대한 Dog Colostomy 의 Stomal Mucosa를 이용한 실험적 연구

There can be no doubt that hemorrhoids can be best eradicated by excision but this excisional surgery in painful one, requiring anesthesia and hospitalization. Recently simple and effective nonoperative methods were devised to actually eradicate the under-lying hemorrhoid tissue and elimainate those disadvantages of surgery, and enthusiatic reports of success has been made on these. However this techniques have not been wide acceptance perhaps in part because of the paucity of information the pathology of the band ligation lesion and the cryolesion. We studied the effect ofband ligation and cryodestruction on the mucosa of stoma of dog colostomy. We found that band ligation showed definite necrosis and separation of mass within a week and healing in 3weeks. Cryodestructed tissue was diasppeared by by liquefaction without actual sloughing of any solid tissue within a week and healed in 3 weeks with few scar formation. One minute cryodestruction was not good enough for destruction, only resulting superficial necrosis. Band ligation lesion was not much different on morphological changes and ewually effective to band ligation plus cryodestruction. We concluded that on this experimental study band ligation therapy might superior to cryotherapy and be effective as much as band ligation plus cryodestruction.
