Optical fiber FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating) sensors are able to measure small deformations, caused by external forces, by measuring the reflected wave-length of the FBGs. But as a specific character optical fibers are brittle and infirm of tensile forces. So we need to design a device for protecting the optical fibers in long distance measurements. In this paper we suggested a sensor package using FBG sensors. Eventually to measure the behaviors of the Containment Structure of Nuclear power plants during the pressurizing for the Structural Intetgrity Test(SIT). This is to alternate the existing method using invar wires. Because of the low accuracy from it’s self weight and occur of electric noise in the existing methods. As a result, to ensure reliability of the sensor package we performed a displacement control and temperature variation test. From these test results we obtained the correction method of the suggested FBG sensor packages.
