        학문 목적 한국어교육을 위한 문화적 문식성 연구

        KGP와 차별된 과정으로서의 KAP에서는 대학(원)에서의 학업 수행에 요구되는 한국어능력을 갖추게 하는 데 초점을 두어 왔으며, 이를 ‘학술적 문식성’으로 정의하고 있다. 본고에서는 KAP 학습자가 갖추어야 할 문화 능력을 ‘문화적 문식성’으로 재개념화 하고, 문화적 문식성의 하위 요소를 1) 학문적 배경지식으로서의 문화 지식, 2) 상호문화적 관점의 문화 인식, 3) 담화 맥락에 맞는 한국어 표현 능력, 4) 매체활용 능력 등의 네 가지 요소로 구분하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 한국어교육 전반에서 ‘의사소통 능력’ 중심으로 논의되었던 문화교육 목표를 ‘지식’ 중심으로 전환하고, KAP 학습자를 위한 문화적 문식성의 개념을 구체적으로 정의, 제시하였다는 데 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to re-conceptualize the ‘cultural literacy’ as a part of the ‘academic literacy’ for KAP(Korean for Academic Purposes) learners. This study tries to examine and analyze the results of various studies and theories about KAP education and Korean cultural education and classifies the factors of cultural literacy as 1) the cultural knowledge as the academic background knowledge, 2) the intercultural point of view, 3) the expressive ability in accordance with a discourse situation and 4) media utilization. The result of this study is expected to provide informations on anticipated future studies in Korean language education and cultural education for academic purpose for the international undergraduate students. Another expectation is that there will be many other studies in Korean cultural education for academic purpose as how to improve the ‘academic literacy’ and ‘cultural literacy’.

        국어교육,한국어교육 : 한국어 교재의 발음교육 방안 연구 -발음교육의 내용과 방법을 중심으로-

        The purpose of this study is to provide an effective method for teaching Korean pronunciation by analyzing the pronunciation parts of current Korean language textbooks. It`s needed to devise the effective method for teaching Korean pronunciation from the entry-level and then compose the pronunciation parts of Korean language textbooks because the pronunciation is the most basic and fundamental step in studying a foreign language and is still felt to be difficult even for a student in an advanced level. Most of current Korean language textbooks aims integrated capability of speaking, listening, reading and writing and doesn`t give the detail informations about Korean pronunciation as the phonological rules and phenomena . It makes both teachers and students feel difficult to teach and study with that and mainly dependent on just repeating the teacher`s pronunciation or recorded one. This study proposes an effective teaching method on Korean pronunciation of Korean language textbook which can solve these problems by addressing the issues and proposing the improvements in 2 kind of areas : educational contents and teaching method. Teaching pronunciation needs a step-by-step and continued training program from an entry-level to an advanced level which can be made by establishing consistent standard about the educational contents and the teaching method of pronunciation for each level and by composing the syllabus for the textbooks.

        학부 유학생을 위한 글쓰기 교육의 목표와 내용에 관한 고찰

        The purpose of this study is to examine the purpose and the contents of Korean writing education for the international undergraduate students at Korean universities. The importance of Korean writing education for the international undergraduate students is increasing with a significant rise in the number of the international undergraduate students at Korean universities. This study tries to define the purpose of Korean writing education as the ‘academic writing’ and classify the contents of Korean writing education into three categories - 1) activating content knowledge, 2) gathering content knowledge, and 3) organizing content knowledge. This study analyzes the textbooks of Korean writing for the international undergraduate students at Korean universities and suggests some improvements based on the results of the analysis of the textbooks. The result of this study shows that there are less contents about organizing content knowledge compare to activating content knowledge and gathering content knowledge in textbooks of Korean writing for the international undergraduate students at Korean universities. The result of this study is expected to provide information on anticipated future studies in Korean language education for an academic purpose for the international undergraduate students. Another expectation is that thisstudy would be followed by many more notable studies on Korean writing education for the international undergraduate students at Korean universities.

        고급 단계 한국어 교재의 한국문화 교육 실태와 방향성 고찰 - 비교문화적 관점에서의 표현 활동 분석을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to review a development status of Korean cultural education for the advanced and to suggest it`s development direction. The need for cultural education in Korean language education is increasing with the significant increase in the number of the Korean language learners. Although this need is prevalent, it is still not enough to learn about Korean culture from current Korean textbooks. This study tries to examine how Korean cultural education is going by analyzing cultural contents and the task activities from Korean textbooks of advanced level on the basis of the stages of cultural studies from a crosscultural standpoint. The result suggests some points to be modified or improved in Korean cultural education for the advanced. This study is significant as it recognizes the importance of cultural education in Korean language education and attempts to find an efficient way for Korean cultural education by analyzing the vast real data. The result of this study is expected to provide information on anticipated future studies in Korean cultural education for proficient communication in Korean language. Another expectation is that there will be many other studies in Korean cultural education focused on various subjects such as how to present effectively Korean culture in Korean textbooks and how to teach it.

        한국어교육 분야에서 한국문화 교육의 목표와 방향 설정에 관한 고찰 - 미국, 유럽의 문화교육과의 비교를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study is to examine how Korean culture education is going and find some improvements for future tasks of Korean culture education. This study tries to examine how Korean culture education is going by comparing the educational objective and the direction of Korean culture education of the National Standard Model of Korean Language Education to those of NSFLL of USA and CEFR of Europe. The result shows that the Korean culture education still have tasks for the cultural education of the inter-cultural perspective and suggests some points to be modified or improved in Korean culture education. The result of this study is expected to provide informations on anticipated future studies in Korean culture education. Another expectation is that there will be many other studies in Korean culture education as how to set up a goal and the direction, and how to improve the details of cultural contents in present Korean textbooks.

        The purpose of this study is to seek a teaching method of Korean literature as a cultural education within the confines of Korean language education for the purpose of communicating in the Korean language proficiently. As the need for cultural education in Korean language education is increasing, the importance of Korean literature education is getting attention as the literal works contain many informations about Korean culture. This study examines various studies about cultural education and Korean literature education and analyze the literal contents in Korean textbooks to seek the way to use Korean literature as a method of teaching of Korean culture. This study attempts to offer a discriminatory method of teaching Korean culture by using Korean literature in the cross-cultural perspective which can make Korean language learners compare the cultural facts in Korean literature to their native culture. This study is significant as it recognizes the importance of the education of literature and attempts to change the perspective on literature from simply being the additional fact for language learning to the important subject of language education and cultural education. The result of this study is expected to provide information on anticipated future studies in Korean literature education as a cultural education for proficient communication in the Korean language. Another expectation is that there will be many other studies in Korean literature education focused on various subjects such as how to set up the standard to select the Korean literal works which is useful for cultural education and how to use them in a Korean textbooks.
