        저층주거지 재생을 위한 개선방향 연구

        Due to the limited residential areas and expensive land cost, cities in Korea seem to have a unique formation of high-density multi-family housing estate. On the other hand, the proportion of low-rise residential areas is declined as the number of multi-complex housings is increased by 13 times larger than previous years resulting monotonous apartment housing types. This phenomenon allows people to reflect different ways of residential areas. However, as the importance of developing small-unit blocks stands out, thoughtless reconstruction of residential areas may disturb sustainable infrastructures, economic growth and corporate activities of the city. Therefore, the government encourages the diversification of urban housing, especially in compact residential areas, through providing institutional strategies such as Happy House in Seoul and Housing for Urban Lifestyle policies. Still, the majority of policies are focused on a formation of low-income residential areas, but the patterns of residential housing types are not much considered to be developed due to the lower economical land value. So, this paper reveals housing plans and policies of the government, examining its trends and prospects to solve current problems of low-rise residential areas. Also, through the analysis of current policies provided by the government, a careful improvement scheme will be determined to explore related factors and limitations. As a result, to design more sustainable communities, an appropriate implementation of such policies and regulations is required to prevent related urban and social housing problems.

        고교학점제 도입에 따른 학교공간혁신사업의 사전기획연구

        This study aims to analyze the direction of the Ministry of Education’s high school credit system implementation project and the plan of the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education’s school space innovation project and propose the direction of future pre-planned research. To this end, we analyzed the pre-planning research case of the housing space innovation project for the renovation of the main building of Pyeongchang High School, and revealed the differentiation and implications from the existing pre-planning research. Prior to the study, literature research and policy analysis such as related business reports were preceded, and participatory workshops and expert advice for process and program development were conducted. First of all, this study looked at the need for changes in school space due to the introduction of the high school credit system and related policies. Second, this study was examined the current status and limitations of pre-planning research, and thirdly, we proposed the improvement direction of pre-planning research through program and process development, expert advice, and user-participated design workshops centered on Pyeongchang High School. This study suggests that the process was divided into more detailed stages, including curriculum analysis at the level of the education office and the level of the school, until the space program (proposal) consistent with Pyeongchang High School was derived.

        주민참여형 기록화사업을 위한 마을기록단 교육프로그램 연구

        The purpose is to reveal the current status and limitations of the village documenting group currently operating in urban regeneration areas, propose a program to educate the village documenting group through examples, and provide directions for future development. Therefore, Geumha village was studied as a test-bed site for organizing educational programs for village documenting and documenting the process. The procedure for this study is as follows. First, this study analyzed the formation, status, and limitations of the village documenting group. Secondly, we studied the meaning and value of the village documenting of Doksan-dong Geumha village, a research place. Third, the characteristics, problems, and limitations of each curriculum of the Geumha village documenting group were analyzed. Fourth, it revealed the implications of the Geumha village documenting education program. Finally, the direction of training and activities of the village documenting group was proposed.

      • 노후주거지 빈집 활용을 통한 지역재생 사례연구 - 일본 오노미치 빈집 뱅크 활용사례를 중심으로

        With the recent issue of empty houses emerging as a social task, various policy measures have been proposed to tackle the problem. In the case of renovating empty houses, it needs to emphasize the aspects that can be viewed from a larger perspective the including the value of architectural assets and revitalization effects of local areas. Although Korea is still in the stage of defining the current situation of empty houses, Japan facing the task of empty houses before us is accumulating a series of successful examples of empty house regeneration as local assets in collaboration of private sector. In case of Onomichi City, Akiya Bank(Empty Housing Bank) plays a key role in the revitalization of empty houses. Renovated houses are also used not only as a center of community space for culture and arts activities, but as a catalyst for commercial revitalization. It is necessary to provide policy support for the reproduction of the value of empty houses through private activities while providing a more professional and active view on regeneration of empty houses as architectural assets.

        주거지재생을 위한 근린재생형 활성화계획의 개선방향 연구

        Since 2017, the urban regeneration project has morphed into a new one. The purpose of this study is to look at the impact of the urban renewal New Deal policy on residential regeneration and to recommend some improvements. Among the three types directly related to residential regeneration, the direction of improvement was proposed by looking at the status and limitations of general nearsightedness cases. First was to elicit the need for this research by reviewing previous research and studies on existing urban regeneration projects, policies and systems. Second, by clearing up the paradigm shift in Korean housing development, we are going to look at the reasons why general residential housing has been derived. Third, analysis of the status of the general approximation activation plan was conducted based on the support subjects, the operating entities, and the direction of physical and economic regeneration by case. Fourth, specific target locations were selected based on previous research results, future planning and policy proposals were made based on expert advice.

        해외 컨테이너 하우징의 계획 특성 연구

        In Korea, one person households are increasing but in short supply of small-scaled housing for them. The merits of containers such as short construction duration, simple construction, economical efficiency and easy recycling can satisfy the needs of affordable households. The purpose of this study is to propose the planning of “the small-scaled Container Housing” through the analysis by case studies. Other countries around the world already have a variety of container housing types. France made a tangible accomplishment which is a Student Housing called "Cite A Docks", which was made out of old shipping containers. It is composed of modular housing units satisfying the every needs of housing. However, container architecture in Korea is only used as temporary architecture or makeshift structures such as a warehouse, temporary residence and construction office until now. And there is lack of the research on container housings. Therefore in this study we will analyze abroad cases based on consideration on plans of Container Housing such as common space, the number of households, height, area and flexible space. As a result, this study will suggest the module system and various methods of units-combining. The result of this study will be valuable to those who are interested in commercialization of container housing. Furthermore, it will be the foundation of developing the planning of small-scaled Container Housing.

        This study is suggestion of the improvement direction of piloti space for the deteriorated low-rise residential block. Finally, this study suggests that the new community space in low-rise hosing block. The conclusions is as follows, first, previous case study and regulation related to the programs of piloti space were reviewed. Second, improvement points were obtained through the interview with residents. Third, module types of piloti space were classified. Lastly, think about various materials and test-bed.

      • 디지털 미디어를 통한‘가변형 치유 공간’연구

        본 연구는 “치유 공간” 계획을 통해 사회적 영향을 가장 많이 받고 있으나, 심리 또는 자살 치료를 쉽게 접하지 못하는 사회취업준비생들이 공간을 통한 직·간접적인 치유를 받을 수 있게 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 치유에 대한 사전연구와 전문가 자문, 가변형 공간에 대한 다양한 실험을 통하여 가변형의 1인용 치유공간을 1:1스케일로 제작하였다. 실험자의 특성을 고려한 영상작업을 위한 시나리오 구성과 제작을 통해, 2주 동안 취업준비중인 대학생 50명의 실험을 통해 실효성을 검증하였다. 향후 기초연구를 통해 다양한 대상과 목적에 맞게 변경, 활용 가능할 것으로 사료된다.
