KBC2008 상세재해지도에 따른 학교건축물의 지진위험도 평가

In this study, the seismic risk of the reinforced concrete school building structure was evaluated by using the seismic performance evaluation methods of low-story RC structures developed in Japan and the required seismic performance index which is obtained according to the KBC2008 seismic hazard map and soil types. The results show that story number and the soil type are the key parameters in determining the seismic risk level of the school building. Finally, the retrofitting costs are approximately estimated based on the required seismic performance index.

Since the school buildings are generally used as public shelters when the natural disasters such as flood and earthquake occur, it must be designed to show enough structural performance when subject to earthquake. Major failure mode of the school buildings observed in past earthquakes were shear failure of column of which length is shortened by infilled masonry blocks. In this paper, the seismic performance of the school building is evaluated by considering this short-column effects, building shape and deterioration.

Economical efficiency of precast concrete WAffle shape slab and conventional RC floor systems investigated in terms of direct construction cost when used as a underground parking structures. The comparison showed that WAS systems require cost 2.7% more than conventional RC floor system. However, the short construction period when using WAS system reduces the indirect construction cost including the Safety management cost and maintenance cost. Consequently, total construction cost considely both direct and indirect construction cost, the WAS system is expected to be economicaly efficient.
