위절제 환자들의 혈액의 생화학적 지표, 체중 및 영양소 섭취 변화에 관한 추적 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in nutritional status of gastrectomy patients. The anthropometric and biochemical data were measured at pre-operation, at discharge, 1 month after discharge, and 3 months after discharge. Nutrient intake levels, nutrients adequacy ratio (NAR), mean adequacy ratio (MAR), and the proportion of patients with intake levels inferior to those of dietary reference intakes (DRIs) were analyzed at discharge, 1 month after discharge, and 3 months after discharge. Finally, the data on 23 patients (15 male and 8 female) were collected and used for statistical analysis. Fifteen patients underwent subtotal gastrectomy, and 8 patients underwent total gastrectomy. Compared to pre-operation, body weight and body mass index of subjects significantly decreased at discharge, 1 month after discharge, and 3 months after discharge (P<0.001). Serum albumin (P<0.001), total lympocyte count (P<0.001), total cholesterol (P< 0.001), hemoglobin (P<0.001), hematocrit (P<0.001), and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (P< 0.05) were significantly different between pre-operation, at discharge, 1 month after discharge, and 3 months after discharge. The proportions of patients with lower nutrient intake levels than DRIs were substantial. MAR at discharge, 1 month after discharge, and 3 months after discharge were 0.70, 0.80 and 0.91, respectively. Especially, the NARs of folate, niacin, vitamin B2, vitamin C, and zinc were all low. Considering the various nutritional problems of gastrectomy patients, systematic medical nutrition therapy is needed after gastrectomy.

Organic farming materials are used to preserve the environment and grow agricultural products organically. In Korea, organic synthetic pesticides must not be detected in organic farming materials for soil amendments and biopesticides. So, proper management of the organic farming materials must be preceded. It is necessary to establish an analytical method to accurately and reliably analyze residual pesticides in organic farming materials with various properties such as extracts, oil, and so on. In this study, a QuEChERS method for simultaneous determination of 259 pesticide residues organic farming materials was validated. Organic farming material samples were extracted with acetonitrile and QuEChERS EN buffer.. And then targeted pesticides were purified with the dispersive solid phase extraction(d-SPE, PSA) and detected by gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). To evaluate performance of the method, validation experiments were carried out on five types of organic farming material at three spiking levels (0.05, 0.25, 0.5 mg kg<sup>-1</sup>). The recoveries of the organic farming materials ranged between 70 and 120.0% with associated relative standard deviations (RSD) less than 22% for most pesticides. The limit of quantification (LOQ) of methods were below 0.05 mg/kg<sup>-1</sup>, and the coefficient of determination (R<sup>2</sup>) of matrix-matched standards were > 0.98. In order for the developed method to be certified as an analytical method determined by the head of NAQs, cross-validation of the three labs is in progress.

Tuberculous lymphadenitis is not uncommon in Korea. Therefore, an inexpensive, safe and rapid method is needed to diagnose the tuberculous lymphadenitis. Flne needle aspiration cytology Is a good method for this purpose, but has several limitations in the diagnosis of tuberculous lymphadenitis, especially when the presence of acid-fast bacilli is not proved. To evaluation the usefulness of the polymerase chain reaction with enzyme immunoassay technique in the detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tuberculosis) In the cervical Iymph node asplrates, the authors performed fine needle aspiration cytology and M. tuberculosis PCR with enzyme immunoassay for mycobacterial DNA sequences from 15 cases of the fine needle aspirates. Cytomorphologically, the cases were categorized into three types: predominantly necrotic materials; typical epithelioid cell granulomas with or without slant cells and caseous necrosis; and non-tuberculous lesions, such as reactive lymphadenitis, abscess, metastatic carcinoma and malignant lymphoma. M. tuberculosis DNA was found in 8 of 15 cases by PCR with enzyme immunoassay. Negative findings on PCR were achieved in 7 cases, which revealed non-tuberculous tymphadenopathy. In conclusion, we suggest that M. tuberculosis PCR with enzyme immunoassay using the fine needle aspirates is a very useful tool for the diagnosis of tuberculous lymphadenitis.

The recoveries ranged between 70% and 120% with associated relative standard deviations(RSD) less than 22%. The limit of quantification (LOQ) of methods were below 0.05 mg/kg<sup>-1</sup>, and the coefficient of determination (R2) was more than 0.98 at matrix-matched calibration curves. Most of the compounds met the criteria. In order for the developed method to be certified as an analytical method determined by the head of NAQs, cross-validation of the three labs is in progress.

The general and some pharmacological actions of DWP 301 were investigated in animals and the following results were obtained. In central nervous system, DWP 301 had no effects on the pentobarbital induced anaesthesia, rotarod test, traction test, analgesic action, anticonvulsant action in mice and body temperature in rat. But DWP 301 showed a little decrease of locomotor activity at a dose of 3,000 mg/kg. From these results, DWP 301 was considered to have little pharmacological effect on the central nervous system. Furthermore, DWP 301 had no influences on the normal blood pressure and heart rate. DWP 301 showed no effect on the isolated guinea pig ileum, trachea, right atrium, and nonpregnant rat uterus. But, in the isolated guinea pig vas deference, DWP 301 had showed inhibitory effect on the contractions produced by norepinephrine. DWP 301 showed rise of gastric juice pH and decrease of urine volume. Also, DWP 301 had no effect on the gastrointestinal motility and blood aggregation. From these results, it is concluded that the general pharmacological effect of DWP 301 are similar to or weaker than M and AGA.
