Geothermal heat pump system using standing column wells as their ground heat exchanger can be used as a highly efficient source of heating and cooling in massive buildings. And it is also called an economical system according to returning expensive initial cost within short period. Standing column wells is used one of the solution for Pipe-scale in the pipe caused by suspended solids of the inner wells. In geothermal heat pump system using standing column well, temperature recovery time is the most important factor that influences the system efficiency. The purpose of this paper is to measure temperature recovery time with respect to supply and return water temperature. Further study is needed in that water temperature in borehole increases gradually when the constant heat exchanger is made in borehole through system operation.
