      • 沿岸域에 있어서의 赤潮生物 君集의 動態에 관한 硏究

        우리나라 沿岸域의 富榮養化에 따라 多發現象을 나타내고 있는 赤潮의 發生機構를 구명하기 위한 基礎硏究의 일환으로 赤潮生物群集의 動態에 관한 硏究를 실시하였다. 硏究對象海域은 鎭海灣一帶를 택하였으며 1981年 8月부터 1982年 7月까지 每月 선정된 6개 정점에서 조사를 실시하였다. 全 調査期間을 통하여 總 29 種類(11屬, 28種및 1未同定種)의 赤潮原因生物이 出現하였으며 年間을 통하여 이들 群集의 大發生은 5月에서 10月사이에 반복되고 있으며 單一種에 의한 특징적인 發生의 類型을 보인다. 한편 現存量의 變動은 大發生의 기간을 제외한 나머지 시기에는 현저하게 감소되는 경향을 보인다. 또 群集의 安定度는 海域에 따라 다르나 多樣性指數는 大發生의 양상과 일치하는 결과를 보여 群集變動의 유효한 指標로 지목된다. As a part of redtide research a study on the population dynamics of redtide organisms in the coastal water has carried out during the period from August, 1981 to July, 1982 in the Jinhae Bay. Samples were collected monthly from 6 selected stations for biological analysis in surveyed area. As a results twenty nine taxa of redtide organisms were taken in this study. Standing crops varied extensively by months and stations, but it showed major blooming peaks from May to October. Community stability by means of diversity index indicates the eutrophication in coastal water and blooming seasons.

        A study on the taxonomy of the freshwater calanoid copepod has been carried out from the Han River reservoirs, Korea during the period from October, 1989 to April, 1990. Heterocope appendiculata identified in the present study is new records to the Korean freshwaters. All ten species in nine genera of the calanoid copepod are, therefore, known to Korean fauna at present.

        한강 (漢江) 하류계의 식물플랑크톤 군집과 (群集) 수질오염지표에 (水質汚染指標) 대하여

        Preliminary survey of phytoplankton community structure and sucession have been carried out to estimate the correlation with water pollution in the lower Han River system during the period from November, 1989 to October, 1990. A total of 190 taxa of phytoplanktons, including diatom, dinoflagellate, green algae and blue-green algae, were identified. Among them, the dominant species are Asterionella gracillima, Diatoma vulgare, Melosira granulata v. angustissima, M. italica (diatoms), Anabaena menderi, Lyngbya contorta, Microcystis aeruginosa (blue-green algae), Actinastrum hantzschii v. fluviatile, Dictyosphaerium pulchellum (green algae). The diversity index somewhat decreased, compared with the previous record, mainly due to the increasing dominance of the genus Asterionella and Merlosira. Water pollution by means of biotic index, ranging from 67 to 167, indicates β-mesosaprobic in the lower Han River system.

        한강 (漢江) 하류계의 동물플랑크톤 군집구조의 (群集構造) 계절적 변동

        The present study has been carried out to clarify the structure of zooplankton community in Han River reservoir, Korea. Samples were collected at eight selected stations by vertical hauls during the period from November 1989 to October 1990. Throught the period study, species composition and seasonal fluctuation of abundance of zooplankton community, mainly copepods, cladocerans and rotifers were analysed. A total of 64 species (28 copepods, 19 cladocerans, 17 rotifers) were identified, in which Asplanchna priodonta, Brachionus calyciflorus, Bosmina longirostris and Cyclops vicinus were dominant. The population density of zooplankton community showed the bimodal pattern in summer and fall. The maximum abundance (71,854 indiv./ ㎥) occurred in July 1990 at st. 2 and the minimum (78 indiv./㎥) in December 1989 at st. 8. Species diversity varied between 0 and 2.38. It increased sharply to a maximum in summer. The water quality of the Han River reservoir seem to the heavely polluted waters in the downstream when compared with in the upstream.

        영산호의 담수산 요각류의 분류학적 연구

        The present study, as a part of taxonomical studies on copepods, has been carried out to clarify the freshwater copepod fauna in Lake Y ngsan, Korea. The monthly sampling of copepods was made at four selected stations in surveyed area during the period from June, 1983 to May, 1984. As a result, a total of 11 species representing 9 genera were identified. Of which, 2 species are described and illustrated new to Korean freshwaters: Canthocamptus carinatus, Shen et Sung, 1973; Halicyclops ryukyuensis, Ito, 1962.

        팔당호에서 (八堂湖) 동물플랑크톤 군집 (群集) 구조와 생물량의 계절적 천이 (遷移)

        In order to clarify the seasonal succession of zooplankton community in Pal`tang reservoir, Korea, the study has been carried out monthly during the period from November 1989 to October 1991. Samples were collected at the dam site by vertical hauls. During the surveyed period, seasonal succession in the abundance of freshwater zooplankton, mainly copepods, cladocerans and rotifers, were analysed. A total of 67 species were identified. It consists of 24 species of cladocerans,16 species (including one subspecies) of copepods and 27 species of rotifers, respectively. Among them, Bosmina longirostris, Daphnia galeata, Cyclops vicinus, Brachionus calyciflorus, Keratella cochlearis and Polyarthra vulgaris occurred dominantly. Abundance of zooplankton showed remarkably with seasonal fluctuation ranging from 288 (December, 1989)∼47,267indiv./m^3 (July, 1990). Dominance index ranged from 0.25∼0.93. Species diversity index varied between 0.64∼2.62. It increased sharply to maximum in late fall. Seasonal patterns of species diversity index was high in the summer and low in the winter. The level of water pollution according to the biological estimation appeared to oligosaprobic-mesosaprobic in the Pal`tang reservoir.

        산성화가 담수산 지각류 Moina irrasa 의 생장에 미치는 영향

        Three mesocosms (natural conditon ; control, pH 6.5, pH 5.0) were settled to investigate the effect of acidification on the biology of Moina irrasa in the vicinity of Inchon City. Water temperature and pH in control fluctuated between 15.7∼28.4℃ and 7.22∼8.32, respectively. No differences of its population density, body shape and fecundity were observed between populatons in control and the mesocosm of pH 6.5 until 12 hours of experiment. Population density of pH 6.5, however, decreased 28∼32% of those in control and the number of egg-carrying animals of pH 6.5 decreased 58∼71% of those in control after 16 hours. Body length (BL) and width (BW) of M. irrasa in pH 6.5 were similar to those in control throughout the 24 hour experiment. In the mesocosm of pH 5.0, M. irrasa could not maintain its population until 12 hours and mean fecundity (12.50∼20.33 embryos per batch) was higher than those in control (9.80∼17.84) and pH 6.5 (8.33∼15.77). Only individuals larger than 1.30mm in BL and 0.96mm in BW were distributed in pH 5.0 during their appearance. M. irrasa seems to be a sensitive species against the acidification and smaller individuals with lower fecundity maybe more sensitive.

        먹이농도 변화에 따른 담수산 지각류 Moina irrasa 의 개체군 동태에 관한 연구

        Freshwater cladoceran Moina irrasa were cultured in a multi room incubator (Vision, VS1203P4) at 25℃ with green algae, Chlorella vulgaris to investigate the effects on the growth and reproduction of M. irrasa population with three different food concentrations (2×10^4, 10^5, 10^6 cells ℓ^-1) in the laboratory. Population density of M. irrasa increased exponentially even at law food concentration (2×10^4 cells ℓ^-1), and the increasing patterns of population density were similar. Mean body length (BL) of juveniles hatched within 12 hours were 0.71 mm and the body length increased greatly when they had first and second eggs and after then, the increasing rate of body length decreased. The body width (BW) of Juveniles hatched within 12 hours were 0.4 mm and the body width increased greatly when they had first eggs and after then, the increasing rate of body width decreased and after 7 days of the experiment, the body width decreased. The maximum body width at 2×10^4cells ℓ^-1 were 1.12 mm, and 1.18 mm and 1.17 mm at 10^6 cells ℓ^-1 and 10^5 cells ℓ^-1, respectively. Mean BW/BL increased until their first reproduction and decreased gradually at the end of the experiment. Maximum BW/BL of Monia irrasa was 0.77 when they had maximum embryos. Mean fecundity varied between 15 and 28, and the maximum fecundity of 30 embryos was observed at third brood at the food concentration of 10^6 cells ℓ^-1. At 10^5 cells ℓ^-1, adults were carrying eggs at the third days of the experiment and after then they carried eggs every two days.
