Reinforcing bar coupling method has a variety of ways including lap-splice method. However, there are problems that need to be improved in terms of constructability, economics analysis. We should be improved about the problems of the existing methods. Accordingly, this study were developed a new type of staggered grip type reinforcing bar coupling. The proposed method show the following effects than existing methods. First, this method can be reduce time through improved workability. Second, increasing safety through the slip removal. Third, improving economic efficiency by reduce the manufacturing costs.

When reinforcing an existing building with the Concrete Filled Tube(CFT) structure, it is impossible to form a diaphragm inside with the existing method. Therefore, in this study, a construction method was proposed so that the internal diaphragm could be welded on four sides by using a slot to transmit force.

When reinforcing an existing building with the Concrete Filled Tube(CFT) structure, it is impossible to form a diaphragm inside with the existing method. Therefore, in this study, a construction method was proposed so that the force could be transmitted using the friction force between the diaphragm and the concrete using a double diaphragm.

This study is concerned with the VSTUD shear reinforcement that it can be installed easily in filed as product at the factory and seismic performance can be achieved. The method of study is as follows. first, we researched constructability and economy of existing method. Secondly, we made specimen and were examined structural performance tests in order to verify the performance of the shear reinforcement. As a result, developed SL shear reinforcement increased in shear strength and stiffness of reinforcement, structural safety is judged to be increased.

This study is concerned with the SL shear reinforcement that it can be installed easily in filed as product at the factory and seismic performance can be achieved. The method of study is as follows. first, we researched constructability and economy of existing method. Secondly, we made specimen and were examined structural performance tests in order to verify the performance of the shear reinforcement. Shear strength of HILL01-HILL03 specimen applied to SL shear reinforcement increased about 5-14% when compared with the applied shear stirrup reinforcing existing specimens. Also, the amount of the maximum deflection of the central sub-section of HILL01-HILL03 specimen applied to SL shear reinforcement decreased about 41-42% when compared with the applied shear stirrup reinforcing existing specimens. As a result, developed SL shear reinforcement increased in shear strength and stiffness of reinforcement, structural safety is judged to be increased.

In this study, coupler on the safety of meeting the requirements and construction and economy to satisfy the number of parts to minimize an LK-DK coupler has been developed, affordability existing reinforcing bar joint, welded joint, mechanical joints, compared with a favorable one to the understanding, and also facilitate the construction and logistics, etc. I``ve found that there is no additional pay because the amount of product performance through the tensile test after test, if commercialization is expected to be greater ramifications.

And based on this technology to monitor the future status of the various structures possible to add a variety of sensors and Life Cycle Prediction of the structure and needs to evolve into intelligent systems and wireless networks using wireless communications infrastructure systems based on expanding domestic market penetration by developing instrumentation pioneer in overseas markets as well as the activation can also be judged.
