柴胡加龍骨牡蠣湯加減方이 高血壓 및 高脂血病에 作用하는 效果

In order to study the effects of Sihogayonggolmoryo-tang gagambang on hypertension and hyperlipidemia, experimental studies were performed on normal rats, SHR and on hyperlipidemia rats induced by 2% cholesterol fed-diet and triton WR-1339. The blood pressure, heart rate, and the changes of total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol were observed. 1. After per os medication in normal rats, the blood pressure was density dependently and significantly decreased. 2. After per os medication in SHR, the blood pressure was significantly decreased only in the high density-treated group. 3. After per os medication in normal rats and SHR, the heart rate was not decreased. 4. After per os medication in hyperlipidemia rats induced by 2% cholesterol fed-diet, only in the high density-treated group, the total cholesterol(p<0.01), triglyceride(p<0.05), LDL-cholesterol(p<0.01) was significantly decreased and HDL-cholesterol(p<0.05) was significantly increased. 5. After per os medication in hyperlipidemia rats induced by Triton WR-1339, in the high density-treated group, the total cholesterol(p<0.01), triglyceride(p<0.01) and LDL-cholesterol was significantly decreased. According to the results, Sihogayonggolmoryo-tang gagambang showed significant decreasing effects on blood pressure and hyperlipidemia and these effects are similar to those of many records and it could be applied effectively to hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
