Field balancing is required in any kind of phase information for the determination location balancing mass toward a rotor unbalance mass. Phase or phase angle is a measurement of the relationship of how one vibration signal which relates to another vibration signal and is commonly used to calculate the placement of balance weight. In this paper, A right guideline shows the photo optical speed sensor as the external KeyPhasor is a very useful when diagnosing machinery vibration problems on considering a phase lag comparing to the laser optical speed sensor. Some experimental results generate the interesting phase errors when appling to a wrong conditions. So, Usage of photo optical speed sensor which is used primarily to measure the shaft rotating speed serves as a reference for measuring vibration phase information has effect on the placement of phase angle how it was misunderstood. This paper will help a right method to search for the position of balancing weight and serves as baseline for further measurements using low cost and much easier user convenience. It is concluded that the propose baseline is likely to be applicable to apply to the practical field balancing weight.

The purpose of this research is to explain the characteristics of vibration for hydraulic turbine generator of shaft system. In design procedure, reviewing the dynamics of shaft vibration for Hydro generator including thrust and upper guide bearing, lower guide bearing, the shaft vibration has effect on an important dynamic characteristics of Francis Turbine Generator with vertical structure running at the rated speed 514rpm (8.57Hz) and the runaway speed. The main thrust of this work is to study the theoretical figures of hydro-generator with salient poles which is driven by hydraulic turbines running at lower speeds less than 1000rpm. Each pole is built thin silicon steel laminations of 0.35~0.5mm to 0.8mm thickness to reduce eddy current laminations. Low speeds are built with vertical shaft design which has suspended type where in the bearing is mounted above the rotor. So, this research is very useful for a practical designers and workers who are engaged in the shaft design for the development of the large hydro generator.

The paper examines the propulsion motor journal bearing using the experiment method which, based on an ARMD(Advanced Rotating Machinery Dynamics) S/W and a similitude design method. The bearings were insulated electrically and have a low thermal conductivity of an epoxy plate structure consist of a 2 to 4 ㎜ thickness deposited over each connection part. This design was compared to other conventional design structure with an available low cost material. The temperature results were satisfied comparing to the previous journal bearing. Excellent lubricating characteristics of oil films, partially due to the use of the enhanced oil lift system. Industrial repair and convenient maintenance of this journal bearing is also possible by applying to half separation assembly structure.

Instream flow is necessary to manage the basic function of the rivers. The evaluation method of instream flow in a big river has been studied widely, However, the study in a small river hasn't researched. In theses days the environmental function of a river becomes very important. The evaluation method and secure of instream flow are basic conditions to perform it. Especially view of stream, recreation, protection of ecology are highly demanded in a urban according to the multipurpose of river spaces. Methods for determining the instream flow in the stream were explored and examined through careful reviews and evaluations of available literatures. Development of the instream flow estimation method is based on the reviewed results and methods which can be used within the acceptable levels.
경사조건을 고려한 대용량 추진 전동기용 베어링 개발에 대한 연구

본 논문에서는 상용 회전체 동역학 해석 툴을 이용하여 경사 운전조건을 고려한 대용량 추진 전동기용 베어링 개발에 상사적 설계 방법과 실험적 방법을 적용하였다. 개발된 베어링은 전기적으로 절연이 되어있으며 각 연결부는 2~4mm 의 에폭시 절연판을 연결하여 낮은 열전도 특성을 가지도록 하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 저속운전에서 야기되는 베어링 손상 문제를 해결하기 위해 원활한 유막이 생성될 수 있도록 고안한 정압 윤활장치를 적용하여 우수한 윤활특성을 확보하였다. 또한 대형 중량물에 대한 유지보수를 고려하여 반분할 방식의 조립구조를 적용하였다. 본 논문은 고부하, 저속 운전의 추진 전동기 분야에 사용되는 미끄럼 베어링의 주요 핵심설계요소를 언급하였다. 게다가, 시험벤치상에서 다양한 경사조건을 통해 실링부의 오일누유 현상을 확인하였다. In this study, bearings were developed for a high-power propulsion motor operating in inclined operation conditions through a simulation and similitude-experimental methods using commercial rotating machinery dynamics analysis software. The developed journal bearing is electrically insulated and has low thermal conductivity because each part is connected with 2-4 -mm-thick epoxy plates. To realize an appropriate oil thickness, an oil lift system is adopted, and a half separated structure is applied to ensure the feasibility of maintaining very heavy components. This study discusses some of the key design aspects of sleeve bearing design for high-torque and low-speed propulsion motor applications. Furthermore, the conditions of variable slope tests are examined to prevent oil leakage from the bearing lip seal on the test rig.

편심 가진기를 이용한 기계설비 공진 진단 기법에 대한 고찰

One of the most important things is to investigate and to resolve the resonance problem with vibration diagnostics for machinery and power plant equipment using CBM (Condition-based maintenance) within a short time and with low cost. The objective of this paper is to introduce the diagnosis technique for resonant machinery equipment using eccentricity shaker with mechanical unbalance mass. When comparing to impact hammer method, the results of natural frequency for measure objects such as machine structures and rotating machinery show good agreement within 3 % of variation. Through the experimental verification using the proposed vibration diagnosis, it is helpful and useful for site experts and practical engineers to evaluate the vibration resonance in fields. So, the use of eccentricity shaker is much more useful and available to investigate the natural frequency than the hammer impact.
