생태적 감성 계발을 위한 문학교육의 방향 모색 -『흥부전』에 대한 생태학적 접근을 바탕으로-

본고는 언어 행위에 내재 되어 있는 가치관과 세계관에 대한 점검을 바탕으로 지속 가능한 발전적 미래를 위한 문학교육의 방향을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본고에서는 ‘생태적 감성’을 인간의 정신ㆍ사회ㆍ환경에 대한 행위를 포괄적으로 바라보고자 하는 생태학적 인식을 바탕으로 한 느낌과 감정으로 개념화하였다. 문학의 예술적 특성을 활용하여 학습자의 생태적 감성을 계발할 때, 공존과 지속 가능성의 맥락에서 실천을 수반한 언어 행위가 이루어질 수 있다. 이를 위해 『흥부전』에 대한 생태학적 접근을 통해 흥부라는 인물에게 내재된 ‘인간을 포함한 생명을 귀히 여기는 마음’과 ‘생명존중의 태도’, ‘서로의 안녕을 해치지 않기 위한 배려’ 등과 같은 생태적 감성을 발견할 수 있었다. 생태적 감성은 ‘포지티브 섬적 사고’, ‘온정적 이타심’, ‘정신적 가치의 중요성’, ‘자기 신뢰’, ‘관계의 진정성’, ‘상생 협력’등과 같은 생태학적 인식을 바탕으로 할 때 계발 가능하다. 생태적 감성을 길러주는 방향으로의 문학교육을 통해 학습자들은 지속 가능한 발전을 도모하는 책임감 있는 언어 사용자로 양성될 것이다. This article aims to explore directions of literary education for a sustainable and developmental future based on inspections of values and worldviews inherent in acts of language. For this, this article conceptualized ‘ecological sensibility’ as feelings and emotions based on ecological consciousness that broadly observe actions of human relationships between the social, the psyche, and nature. When the ecological sensibility of learners is developed using the artistic characteristics of literature, language behaviors that involve action in contexts of coexistence and sustainability can be fulfilled. Through ecological approaches to 『Heungbujon』, it is shown that ecological sensibilities inherent in the character of Heungbu such as ‘a mind that values all life including people’, ‘an attitude of respect for life’, and ‘consideration not to harm the well-being of one another’ can be developed based on ecological consciousness such as ‘positive-sum thinking’, ‘compassionate altruism’, ‘the importance of mental values’, ‘self-trust’, ‘the authenticity of relationships’, and ‘mutually beneficial cooperation’. Through literary education that fosters ecological sensibility, learners can be cultivated as language users that have a sense of responsibility towards a sustainable and developmental future.
