        초·중·고 학생의 치아우식관련 식이 섭취 빈도와 치아우식경험의 연관성

        Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between dental caries and the frequency of dental cariesrelated dietary intake among primary, middle, and high school students. It is intended to be used as a basic data for adolescent dietary guidance. Methods: The data were analyzed using the health questionnaire survey and oral examination data from the raw data of the 2019 student health test sample statistics conducted by the Korean Ministry of Education. A total of 59,370 primary, middle, and high school students were selected. Results: For middle and high school students, the more frequent the intake of sodas, the more cases of dental caries were noted. The rate of dental caries was increased in comparison to the group which did not consume dairy products or consumed these once or twice a week. Conclusions: For middle and high school students, dietary guidance should be employed so that consumption of sodas will decrease or consumption will be reduced to less than twice a week.

        제6기(2013-2015년) 국민건강영양조사를 활용한 미취학 아동의 미충족 치과의료에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of demographic characteristics and oral health status on unmet dental needs among preschool children and to provide a basis for improvement of the dental care equality and accessibility using data from the 6th National Health and Nutrition Survey. Methods: This study was performed using data collected from the 6th National Health and Nutrition Survey. The subjects were 1,472 out of 22,940 people, who participated in the survey and under went oral examination. IBM SPSS Statistics (Version 20.0) was used for statistical analyses based on the complex sampling design. Frequency analysis was performed to determine the distribution of unmet dental needs according to the characteristics of the subjects. The Rao-Scott χ2 test was performed to examine the relationship of unmet dental needs with general characteristics and health- and oral health-related variables. Relevant factors were determined using binary logistic regression analysis. Results: The factors that had statistically significant relations with unmet dental needs included age, medical insurance, household income, limited physical activity, history of dental caries in deciduous teeth, and subjective health status. Logistic regression analysis of complex samples was conducted to determine factors related to unmet dental needs. The results of analysis showed that limited physical activity and history of dental caries in deciduous teeth were related to unmet dental needs. Conclusions: The results show the factors affecting, and the reasons for, the unmet dental needs of preschool children. Future studies are needed to develop national projects and oral health education reforms to address inequalities in preschool children's dental care.

        초등학생 대상의 국내 구강건강관리 프로그램에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰

        Objectives: This purpose of this study was to examine the trends in interventional research and analyze the contents and results of intervention through a systematic literature review of the domestic research literature, suggesting the effect of an oral care program on elementary school students. Methods: A total of 262 articles were retrieved initially, and the duplicate articles were then removed, excluded after screening titles, abstracts, and full-text articles. Finally, a total of 16 papers were used in the review. Results: The study included 9 articles with the nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design and 7 with the one-group pretest-posttest design. All articles were of non-randomized studies. The most common index of the interventional effect was dental plaque. Further, oral health behaviors and knowledge, perception, self-efficacy, and DMFT index were common indices. In the quality assessment, in the “blinding of outcome assessment” among six items of ROBANS, 12 studies showed a high risk of bias. Conclusions: In order to develop an interventional oral health care program for elementary school students and evaluate the effectiveness, a strict research design and qualitative improvement of research reports are required, and continuous research should be conducted to develop a systematic protocol.

        Qraycam™을 활용한 구강보건교육 피드백의 융합적 효과

        본 연구는 Qraycam™을 활용한 구강보건교육 피드백의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 중학교 2학년 총 118명을 대상으로 4주간 실험을 진행한 후 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Qraycam™을 활용한 치면세균막 검사에서는 이미지로 피드백을 받은 실험군의 ΔR30, ΔR70, ΔR120값 모두 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였다(p<0.001). SPS는 실험군과 대조군 모두 중재 후에 감소하였으나 실험군에서만 통계적으로 유의한 결과가 나타났다(p<0.001). 구강보건행태에서는 칫솔질 시간이 중재 후 실험군이 대조군에 비해 유의하게 높은 결과가 나왔다(p<0.001). 주관적 구강건강상태에서는 주관적 구강건강의 중요성이 대조군에 비하여 실험군에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다(p<0.001). 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 Qraycam™이미지로 피드백을 받은 실험군에서 치면세균막 감소효과가 컸으며, 칫솔질 시간, 주관적 구강건강의 중요성이 높게 나타났으므로 Qraycam™을 구강보건교육에 시각적인 피드백 도구로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 보여진다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of oral health education feedback using Qraycam™. The middle school students 118 were divided into intervention group (59) and control group (59) subjects evaluated the dental plaque score using Qraycam™ after oral health education at baseline. Then, the Qraycam™ images view only sent to students and parents of the intervention group by text message. After 4 weeks both intervention group and control group were evaluated dental plaque by Qraycam™ re-taking. Then, they filled out the questionnaire. Both ΔR value and SPS(Simple Plaque Score) were statistically significant reduced in groups performed feedback(p<0.001). The oral health behavior, toothbrushing of intervention group was significantly higher compared to the control group(p<0.001). Also the importance of oral health was significantly higher in the intervention group compared to the control group(p<0.001). The effect of dental plaque reducing, toothbrushing time and subjective oral health importance were higher in the intervention group who received feedback using Qraycam™ image. Therefore it was expected to be able to utilize Qraycam™ image as a visual feedback tool of oral health education.

        일부 중학생의 주관적 구강건강상태와 구강건강지식이 구강건강행동에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: The purposes of this study were to comprehend the subjective dental health status and the level of dental health knowledge in some middle school students and to analyze the correlation with dental health behaviors. Methods: A survey was conducted in some middle school students and the final 637 survey data were analysed. As the statistical analysis methods, the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behaviors according to the general characteristics were analyzed by independent t-test, one way ANOVA and Scheffe. The correlations among the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behavior were found by Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results: Through correlation analysis of the subjective dental health status, dental health knowledge and dental health behavior, all showed a significant correlation. As a result of the factor analysis affecting dental behaviors, subjective dental health status was the highest (β= 0.304, p<0.001). Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that the improvement of subjective dental health status and dental health knowledge related to dental behaviors health in the middle school students should be considered. In addition, dental health education should focus on improving subjective dental health status through motivation rather than knowledge transfer training. Moreover, development programs appropriate for the middle school students whose behavioral changes are hard to obtain are needed.

        영유아를 위한 한국형 우식위험관리 평가도구의 내용 타당도 검증

        목적: 본 연구의 목적은 한국형 영유아 우식위험관리 도구(Korean Version of Caries management by risk assessment)의 내용타당도와 내용 이해도를 검증하는 것이다. 연구방법: 영유아를 위한 한국형 우식위험관리 도구를 개발하기 위해 첫번째로, 전문가위원회에서 번역, 역 번역을 진행하였고 석사이상의 학위를 가진 17명의 치위생사로 구성된 전문가 집단을 대상으로 국내 환경에 맞게 수정하고 내용 타당도 검증을 시행하였다. 내용타당도는 빈도분석 및 기술통계를 통해 산출하였다. CAMBRA 도구의 내용이해도를 파악하기 위해 64명의 영유아 보호자를 대상으로 설문을 실시 하였다. 결과 : 각 항목의 내용타당도 결과는 CVI가 .79로 전반적으로 준수하게 나타났지만, .63에서 1.0까지 다양하게 나타났다. 각 항목에 대한 내용 이해는 3.56에서 4.46 사이로 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 영유아를 위한 한국형 우식위험관리 도구는 적정수준의 내용타당도를 나타냄으로써 영유아의 우식위험을 적절하게 평가할 수 있는 것으로 결론 지었다. 이 연구도구는 영유야의 구강 건강 향상 및 구강병 예방에 기여할 것이다. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to confirm the content validity and understanding of questions of the korea version of caries management by risk assessment(CAMBRA). Method: To develop the korea version of CAMBRA for children age 0-5, a series of steps were taken; First, translation and reverse-translation processes were conducted by an expert committee. To establish the content validity, a modification process was taken for adaptation to the Korean circumstance by 17 dental hygiene professionals who have a master’s degree of higher. Answers were analyzed using analysis of frequency and descriptive statistics, and content validity was verified by calculating the Content Validity Index(CVI). We surveyed 64 mothers and caregivers on understanding of questions of the korea version of CAMBRA. Result: The content validity of each items showed S-CVI/AVE of .79 but the content validities were different from each other ranging from .63 to 1.0. The understanding of each question were from 3.56 to 4.46 showing favorable results. Conclusion: It was concluded that the test items contained the appropriate content validity to assess the caries risk for children age 0-5. It will be contribute to improve children’s oral health and disease prevention by providing timely intervention.
