Six Sigma emphasizes KPI and establishes the present level as well as the goal level through statistical calculation and tries to achieve management innovation through process improvement. But in the area of new product development or service, sufficient data for statistical measurement may not be secured. On the other side, looking for contradictions through problem analysis, TRIZ is a methodology that stresses the process of solving these problems. TRIZ also has its own problems: it is hard to define its initial task, to objectify the measurement of effect, and to optimize the drawn out idea. The purpose of this report is to five a comprehensive understanding about each methodology(Sigma Six and TRIZ) through its analysis, to confirm the need of linking both methodologies, and to suggest a model for this linking process. Also, they will be verified through examples, and the synergy effect will be discussed.

In the daily life of the transportation vulnerable, the accessibility to the facilities such as the hospital or welfare to the destination is possible using passenger cars or semi-public transportation like a disabled taxi, etc. However, for leisure purposes, such as shopping and meetings, transportation is mainly based on public transportation, in particular, while the movement inside the station is relatively easy on the case of urban railways, after moving out of station, moving conditions are very poor in station area. Therefore, in order to improve the daily life for transportation vulnerable, in addition to the facilities inside the public transportation, the conditions of transportation in the station area are also important, and a model that can be verified and evaluated spatially is needed. This study is to empirical analysis the movement range in the urban railway station area to promote the daily life for the transportation vulnerable. A distance, area, and facilities that can be moved for a certain period of time are calculated to distinguish vulnerable areas based on the GIS walking network from the station to the subway station of the city railway which is the representative public transportation of Seoul city. We develop a model that can quantitatively analyze the effect of improvement of pedestrian facilities for transportation vulnerable.

This study is intended to provide navigator with specific information necessary to assist the avoidance of collision and the operation of ships to evaluate the maneuverability of dead weight tonnage 8,000 tons Oil/Chemical tanker. The actual maneuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged from the results of typical ship trials. Author carried out sea trials based full scale for turning test, Z” maneuvering test, man overboard rescue maneuver test, inertia stopping test. Consequently, 2st Overshoot yaw angle of the semi balanced rudder and flap rudder in ±20° zig.zag test showed 22.2° and 18.0°, respectively. The maneuverability of the vessel was good in the flap rudder. The man overboard rescue maneuver maneuverability test was most favorable in the flap rudder and the full load condition. The results from tests could be compared directly with the standards of maneuverability of IMO and consequently the maneuvering qualities of the ship is full satisfied with its.
