Automobile company tries to reduce the inertia of powertrain to increase the fuel efficiency and increase the engine power every year to make the high speed driving possible at full load condition. These cause the torsional vibration of powertrain. But the demand about ride comfort improvement is increased constantly, so torsional vibration of powertrain become an emergency problem to be cured. This study is a basic research to reduce the torsional vibration of powertrain at driving condition. First, the heavy duty powertrain is characterized as a vibrating system. Its natural frequencies and mode shapes are reviewed. Second, by comparison of simulation results and experiment results, validity of developed model is verified. Finally, the couterplan which can reduce the torsional vibration by mode analysis and parameter modification is suggested.

The main torsional vibration source of the powertrain is the fluctuation of engine torque. The gear rattle is impact generating in the backlash of the free gear due to this torsional vibration. Optimization of the clutch torsional characteristic is one of the effective method to reduce the idle gear rattle. Many researches have been reported on this problem but only few of them give sufficient consideration to the detailed clutch modeling and the experiment. This paper pays attention to the optimization of clutch design parameters and the experiment to reduce the idle gear rattle vibration and noise.
자동차 경량 부품 제조를 위한 Al-Cu-Mg 분말 합금의 소결 및 열처리 특성

Lightweight materials such as aluminum and magnesium have recently received much attention in the automotive industries because of environmental and fuel-efficiency concerns. Using the powder metallurgy (PM) process for these materials creates significant opportunities for the cost-effective manufacture of lightweight automotive parts. In the present study, an Al-Cu-Mg alloy was fabricated using conventional PM processes. Primarily, the effects of the alloying elements on the sintering characteristics and mechanical behavior after heat treatment were investigated. A microstructural analysis was performed using an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope to investigate the behavior of liquid phase sintering, including the formation of precipitates. The dependence of the mechanical behavior on the alloying elements was evaluated based on the transverse rupture strength.

In contrast to the primary hepatocellular carcinoma, tumor thrombosis of the portal vein is rarely found in metastatic liver cancer which is frequently found in the patients with primary cancers of organs that has portal venous drainage. We recently experienced a case of hepatic metastasis of gastric carcinoma showing unusual radiological findings in a 67-year-old woman. She complained of abdominal bloating during the second phase of combined chemotherapy. Four months ago she had received pylorus preserving gastrectomy for advanced gastric cancer. The liver CT showed raiher well marginated, geographic low attenuations distrubuted along periphery of liver and thrombosis of the main portal vein. After infusion of contrast media, the major part of peripheral low attenuation became isodense to the central portion of liver. Ultrasound guided multifocal biopses revealed massive portal venous tumor thrombosis and trans-sinusoidal metastasis of gastric carcinoma which was more severe in the areas of peripheral low echogenicity where hepatic necrosis and fibrosis were observed. In conclusion, geographic attenuation difference in the liver on cross sectional images can be induced by massive portal venous thrombosis and following hepatic injury in liver metastasis from gastric carcinoma. In recent year. As the demand about low vibration and noise vehicle is increased constantly. Automobile companies try to a lot of thing to achieve this demand. Gear rattle vibration became a emergency problem to be cured at idling.<br/> There are two kinds method to reduce idle gear rattle vibration. One is optimization of clutch damper design para meted stiffness. hysteresis torque. preload). the other is system parameter modification (inertia. drag torque, backlash). But these methods are impossible to estimate influence rate of each gearpair Con the idle gear rattle vibration.<br/> In this study. 14 degrees of freedom nonlinear model is developed to analysis influence rate of each gearpair on the idle gear rattle vibration and the counterplan to design low vibration transmission is suggested.
