Advancements in technology like building information modeling (BIM) have made their way into the construction industry over the past decade. Using 3D-model along with the project schedule as a time component has been the upcoming trend in the industry. Project schedule is an important factor that is helpful for site managers to assess the progress of the construction. Therefore, this study aims to propose a handheld augmented reality system that will help managers in visual site progress inspection and detection of delays.
