The principal purpose of this simulation is to visualize the fatigue damage about circuit breaker's link system following to its driving condition. High voltage GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) consists of many parts, CB(Circuit Breaker), DS(Disconnecting Switch), ES(Earthing Switch), etc.. Especially CB has many links and levers for its driving, opening and closing motion. First we determined load profiles at each link and lever analyzing its motion by kinematic software and correlating it's data with experimental one. Second the structural analysis of these link and lever was performed with unit load. Finally we carried out durability analysis by stress life method with Miner's damage rule and by vibration fatigue method with Dirlik solution method using stress tensors from structural and natural frequency analysis results and relative response load time histories from kinematics results.
