In this study a new method based on flux-linkage is introduced for calculation by cell method of eddy currents in conductive shield. According to this method allocation of memories and calculation time are saved. Magnetic-field distributions of any space can be calculated by summing contributions by source currents and eddy currents in shield, and the shielding effects of shield can be analyzed. And therefore this method can be applied to the design of shields.

In this study reduction effects of magnetic field were analyzed using multi-conductor method in analysis of shield. The method can be effective in the analysis because of reducing the amount of allocated memory and computing time. And also the method can be applicable to analysis of the induced current distributions and skin effect in shield. The results of the analysis are presented.
A Study on the Structural Shape and Vibrational Characteristics of Aluminum Sandwich Panel

본 연구에서는 실선에 적용된 알루미늄 하니콤 샌드위치 판 (AHSP)을 저자가 제안한 심재의 형상이 피라미드인 알루미늄 샌드위치 판의 구조적 특성 및 진동특성을 검토해 보았다. 알루미늄 피라미드 샌드위치 판(APSP)의 기초 자료로 쓰일 수 있게 심재의 각도변화, 높이변화 및 면재와 심재의 두께변화에 따른 구조적 특성을 검토한 결과 APSP가 강도 및 강성에서 우수함을 보였으며, 질량대비 큰 강성 때문에 고유진동수도 다소 크게 평가되었다. Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel (AHSP) not only have high flexural rigidity and strength per density but also excellence in anti-vibration and anti-noise properties. Their properties are very useful for build airplane and high speed crafts, which need lighter-weighted and more strengthed element. Recently, the AHSP is regarded as a promising strength member of light structures like the hull of high speed crafts. Generally, the core shape of aluminum sandwich panel (ASP) is the hexagonal shape of honeycomb. But, in this paper, authors proposed the ASP with pyramid core, as the ASP model of new type, and analysed the structural and vibrational characteristics for aluminum pyramid sandwich panel (APSP) as this new ASP type, according to the thickness variation of core and face, the height variation of core. The applied sandwich models have isotropic and symmetrical aluminum faces and pyramid cores. And, the applied boundary conditions are simple, fixed and free support.
적외선 열화상 카메라를 이용한 선박 추진장치 캐이싱 내의 열화발생에 관한 연구

This research is a study on the temperature distributions in the upper casing of small ship's azimuth thrusters by using infrared thermography(IRT) camera. At during small ship's azimuth thrusters revolution, the resulting frictional heat has degradation of thrusters. An experimental study is performed to obtain basic data for oil cooler system design that is solvable under such frictional heat. While rotate with 1800rpm the shafting, temperature and thermal imaging in upper casing was measured. As the experiment is being performed, shafting temperatures are measured using infrared thermography (IRT) cameras, and the shafting temperature data are compared with the temperature data from the thermometer in the casing. With the results of this experiment, we are able to obtain applicable data for oil cooler system design and predict the performance and structural design required for installation of oil cooler system.
소형 선박용 Azimuth 추진장치 상부 케이싱 내의 열화발생에 관한 연구
