The purpose of this study is to establish theoretical scheme for engine mount design and to develop an engine mount design program. A six degrees of freedom, rigid body model of engine mount system is developed and the equation of motion for the mount system is derived in this paper. And Engine Mount Design System is implemented with visual basic code through some equations of design principles for engine mount that is derived for 3, 4, 5 and 6 point support. EMDS was applied for minibus. Also, the result of EMDS was compared with current design, and EMDS was verified that it is useful tool through making a comparison between the analysis with EMDS and the experiment in vibration characteristics of mount system.<br/>

Gas wiping process of continuously hot-dip galvanized coating on steel strip has noise and coating problems. To improve the qualify of product, characteristics of air flow on the steel surface must be investigated. In this paper, fluid dynamic model of the gas flow is setup and solved numerically using STAR-CD. The effects of edge baffle, distance between steel plane edge and baffle, inlet pressure, and gap between air knife and strip steel surface are investigated, and it is concluded that edge baffle can reduce over-coating and edge built-up.
