PET/CT 영상을 이용한 폐 영역 분리 및 영상 퓨전

Result images that has acquired from PET(positron emission tomography) that used to see the function images as a blood flow, basal metabolic rate and synthesis rate from among medical instruments is not clear and classify the structure of the human body clearly. Therefore, I had been obtained a images through the machine integrated a PET device and CT(computed tomography) supplies the images clearly, to see the function images and images that showing the structure of a human anatomy simultaneously. Finally, I had been obtained images of the PET and the CT at once. The fusion of images that has other features, has more information to make a correct diagnosis. In this paper, I suggest a method for fusing the PET and CT images automatically, after CT images extracted a chest area from original CT images. To make a segmentation for chest area, I utilized two special method, Seeded Region Growing(SRG) method and 1-dimensional space signal process method. The images extracted a chest area from original CT images will be helpful to make a correct diagnosis, fusing the PET and CT images. Also I applied visual programming to the fusion images, to operate some more an easy and a convenience in process of making the fusion images.
