This paper studied the relationship between fan noise and design parameters for axial fan by experimental method. The design parameters in this study were a number of blade. angle of blade and length of inlet cone, which is easy to change the size of parameter and effect largely on fan noise.<br/> This paper rearranged T. Fukano's and S.E. Wright's fan noise theory and provides the fundamentals on the design of high efficiency and low noise for axial fan. As it was carried out experiment due to the change of new design parameters, bellmouse and lip clerance. the results on high efficiency and low noise on axial fan were obtained by determination these design parameters.<br/>

In the most of acoustic system with low flow rate and low pressure level. one-dimensional. linear model ing techniques are used very well. At low frequency, the<br/> tubes is modeled as inertia element and cavity as capacitance element, and to extend the range of frequency normal mode oscillators are represented. Bond modeling techniques are proposed to predict TL(Transmission Loss) and time response analysis which is impossible by transfer matrix in muffler system. An simple acoustic filter which consists of several tubes and cavities is analyzed in both time and frequency domain.
