선내 곡률 반경에 적용 가능한 플렉서블 표면파 공진기 실험 연구

본 연구는 선박의 내부의 비금속 재질 등으로 인하여 표면파 공진기의 설치가 어려운 환경에서 이를 극복하는 방법으로 플렉서블기판을 이용한 표면파 공진기의 적용 가능성에 대하여 제작 및 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 설계 제작된 플렉서블 공진기의 곡면구조에서 실험한결과 평면구조에서 평면형 공진기보다 성능은 열화되지만, 곡면구조에서 평면형 공진기 대비 높은 전송속도를 확인하여 그 적용 가능성을 확인하였다. 본 실험을 통해 평면형 표면파 공진기가 부착되기 어려운 구조물에서도 금속체 표면파 통신이 가능할 것으로 생각되며, 선실 선교 등내부가 비금속 포장재로 되어 있는 공간에서도 내부의 연결된 금속 파이프를 통해 선박 전 구간에서 최적의 금속체 표면파 통신 구성이 가능할 것으로 생각한다. This study demonstrates the performance of flexible surface wave resonators in spaces on a ship to overcome environmental limits like non-metallic walls where conventional surface wave resonators cannot installable. Although test results in plane structures show that the performance of conventional surface wave resonators are better than the flexible ones, the results are reversed in curved structures. Flexible surface wave resonators can be installed on metal-pipes that connects all spaces in a ship, and this will allow to build ultimate communication network all over the ship including the rooms like cabins or bridges that are enclosed in non-metallic walls.

The Medical Insurance Program for the Self-employeds and for the Government and Private School Employees were merged since 1998. 10. 1. and National Medical Insurance Corporation was founded. They designed nationwide-unified contribution scheme to get the equity and efficiency. Though newly designed contribution scheme seems to be slightly better than the previous one, still I can find some serious problems. First, most of the income to be used are estimated income, not real one. Second, the contribution on the taxable income is seriously income regressive, that is, the contribution rate for the low-level group is far higher than that of the high income group. Third, new contribution scheme heavily depends on the property, rather than the income. Fourth, I worry about the financial instability for the merged medical insurance program. In conclusion, since finding the accurate income for the self-employeds is essential for many aspects. I propose complete income study for the people, at least self-employeds.

20 years have passed since the National Medical Insurance System was introduced to Korea. Though the Korean National Medical Insurance System(KNMIS), which can be summarized as the low-premium, low-benefit, and low-medical fee system, has satisfied the demand for the baisc health services, there have been lots of complaints from the suppliers of the health services, the patients and the insurers. In my research, I analyzed the problems of the KNMIS with the several aspects and the general profiles by year using time-series data. The focus of my rescarch is on finding out the determinants of the medical expenses for the deterrence of the rapidly increasing medical expenses and the optimal scale of the medical insurance societies for the self-employed. For the empirical analysis, I performed the panel study using the panel data of the medical insurance societics for the self-employed (urban & rural) during 1992-1994. I found the determinants of the medical expenses as the number of the organization and width covered by the individual societies, the number of the hospital beds, the number of the medical facilities and the frequency of utilization of the societies. And the optimal scale for the medical insurance societies for the self-employed, which nunimizes the average cost & gets the economy of scale, turned out to be twice as lagre as the current scale. Based on the estimation, I suggested several policy proposal for the deterrence of the medical expenses and the efficient operation of the medical insurance societies for the self-employed.

Since the inauguration of the medical insurance system in 1977, the increasing medical expenses which can be menace to tile finance of the medical insurance system, have become major concern in the medical insurance field In Korea. This study focuses on the determinants of the medical expenses in the health insurance in Korea and analyzes the impact of these factors on the increase in the medical expenses. The empirical work is done using the pooled cross-section and time-series data of the medical insurance for the self-employeds and the industrial workers from the year 1995 to 1997. The result of this study shows that the main determinants of the medical expenses in the health insurance are the ratio of the population of the aged to the total population, the frequency of the utilization, number of doctors per capita and the regime changes. Although the increasing trend in the medical expenses seems to be unavoidable, we probably need to add some efficiency to the medical expenses by suppressing the supply and the utilization of the unnecessary medical services. The fee-for-service reimbursement system of today can't suppress the supply of the unnecessary medical services effectively. So we need to convert the present fee-for-service system into DRG's which is known to reduce the medical costs. The increase in the medical expenses comes from a lot of factors. Therefore, we should develop more systematic and comprehensive measures to control the soaring medical expenses in consideration of the various factors such as demand, supply, and the organizational side of the medical system.
정부 R&D 지원의 기업 R&D 투자에 대한 효과 분석 -제약산업을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the R&D subsidies by the government on the private firms' R&D investments in the Korean pharmaceutical industry, which are supposed to have positive effects on their economic performance. We also estimate the relationship between the private firms' R&D investments and firms' economic outcome. Empirical analysis is done by Error Component 2 Stage Least Squares(EC2SLS) estimation using 43 pharmaceutical firms' 8 years' panel data. The elasticity of the government R&D subsidies on the private R&D investments is 0.021%, which we cannot say 'efficient'. Also R&D investments have positive effects on the economic outcome of the pharmaceutical firms, as we expected. We propose several suggestions in the conclusion for theefficient way of government R&D subsidies to induce more private R&D investments.
