The Authors analyzed 125 cases with chronic subdural hematoma admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery. Masan Koryo General Hospital from March 1987 until February 1992. The results obtained were as follows. 1) The male to female ratio was 4.9:1 and the incidence was predominent in the patients whose ages were over 50. 2) Antecedent history of head trauma was found in 79 cases(63%). 3) In 70 cases(56%), the density of hematoma shown on CT scan was low. In patients of under 60 years of age, the shape of hematoma was planoconvex, cresent, biconvex in the order of frequency whereas in patients of over 60, the sequence changed to biconvex, crescent, planoconvex. 4) In our series, the patients younger than 60 were managed either with burr hole drainage(40 cases) or craniotomy(34 cases), while the patients older than 60 were treated with burr hole drainage(45 cases) and craniotomy(6 cases). 5) Total mortality rate was 2.4%(3 cases). We have found a significant association between the neurologic grade at admission and prognosis of a patient.
수술적 치료한 96예의 외상성 뇌실질내 혈종의 임상적 연구

The authors had studied 96 cases of traumatic intracerebral hematoma surgically treated in the Department of Neurosurgery, Masan Koryo General Hospital from January 1987 to December 1991. The results were as follows : 1) The patients' age ranged from 8 to 73 years and sex distribution was dominant in male. 2) The most common cause of tranumatic intracerebral hematoma was fall. 3) The most common site of hematoma was frontal lobe, followed by temporal lobe. 4) The neurologic status on admission was closely related to prognosis. 5) DTICH(Delayed traumatic intracerebral hematoma) was found in 27 cases(28.1%) which had poor prognosis. 6) Total mortality rate was 28.1%

부지감시 및 조사의 목적은 운영 전, 운영중 및 폐쇄 후 단계에서 변화가 예상되는 주요 부지특성을 지속적으로 감시함으로써 방사성폐기물처분장의 성능평가 및 설계에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 부지감시의 단계별 주요내용은 다음과 같다. 운영전 단계에는 부지의 적합성 평가 및 처분장 건설과 운영에 필요한 주요 부지특성을 감시하며, 운영 중 단계에는 안전하고 효율적인 운영과 환경에 미치는 영향을 판단하기 위하여 주변지역을 포함하여 주요 부지특성을 감시한다. 폐쇄 후 단계에는 처분장의 방사성 물질로 인한 영향을 사전에 예방하고, 처분장의 장기적 안전성을 위하여 필요한 주요 부지특성 항목을 감시한다.
