Structural damage detection technique indicates the problem of how to locate and detect damage that occurred in a structure by using the observed changes of its dynamic and static characteristics. This study provides an analytical algorithm for damage detection based on measured deflection data. The measured deflection data of the damaged beam can be considered as a kind of constraints to restrict the deflected shape. Utilizing the constraints and minimizing the change of the displacement vector at undamaged and damaged states, the deflected shape of the damaged beam is estimated. And introducing the displacement curvature calculated based on the estimated displacement data, this study detects the damage location. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed method are illustrated through the comparison with the experimental results of a simple cantilever beam test. It is concluded that the proposed method can properly detect the damage of the beam under the measurement of exact deflections at measuring points.

Beginning with the derivation of an expansion method to estimate the data at full set of degree of freedom from measured static displacement data, this study proposes an analytical method to detect the damage of damaged beam by introducing displacement curvature and damage factor(DF) expressed by the curvature ratio of undamaged and damaged beam. The validity of the proposed method is evaluated through an experiment of damaged simple beams.
On the Description of Constrained Static Behavior of Continuous System

The static behavior of continuous system is described by the elastic curve method or is approximately analyzed by a finite element method to be modeled as a discrete system. If a continuous system is constrained by linear constraints which restrict its static behavior, its behavior can be approximately described by the finite element method. It is not easy to describe the constrained behavior by continuous coordinate system. Starting from the generalized inverse method provided by Eun, Lee and Chung, this study is to expand the equation to the continuous systems, to perform the structural analysis of the beam under a uniform loading with interior spring supports, and to investigate the validity of the proposed method through applications.
저 품위 철광석을 사용한 식생용 투수 콘크리트의 중성화 및 제작에 관한 연구

Recently produced concrete has a tendency to overcome environmental defects. Porous and planting Eco-concrete requires the neutralization process and enough void in concrete to contain water, to pass air freely, and provides necessary nutrients to vegetation roots. The biological environment in concrete is not suitable for planting because the concrete possesses strong alkali constituent of pH 11-13. This study evaluated the strength and serviceability of concrete as well as the chemical characteristics of concrete mixed by low-grade iron ore left in the abandoned mine and treated by Ammonium monohydrogen phosphate, (NH_(4))_(2)HPO_(4). Test variables include two kinds of coarse aggregates such as crushed stones and low-grade iron ore, the duration time and the period for neutralization treatment by Ammonium monohydrogen phosphate, (NH_(4))_(2)HPO_(4), and the proportion ratio of cement, blast furnace slag and silica fume.
