In this study, anisotopic yield function is proposed for the numerical analysis of reinforced tunnel ground with grouting. For this, material properties of the reinforced ground both by equilibrium as well as kinematic condition along the interface and by the mean field theory of Eshelby (1957} and Zhao (1990) are compared with each other and, as a result, the advantage/disadvantage of the proposed models are summarized. Finally, reinforced ground around tunnel with grouting is analyzed numerically. A new anisotropic yield function model is shown to be more reliable than the previous one and the predicted result is agreeable with the experimental data available.

Long term measurement data on the bridge response caused by moving loads are fundamental ingredient to the development or improvement of the new bridge design. In addition, proper establishment of the systematic analysis and diagnosis together with the maintenance system become the essential procedure to the effective repair/reinforcement/retrofit of not only the high speed but also the conventional railway bridges. Therefore, the real time health monitoring system on the important railway bridges should be enhancing the proper maintenance of the structures. The main objective of this study is, therefore, to develop a monitoring device including Weigh-In-Motion (WIM) function and the emphasis is place on the easy and economic installation of the developed system in the field condition.
긴장력 조절이 가능한 PSC철도교량의 동적성능에 관한 연구

Recently, there has been growing recognition of new-type bridges in the railway bridge engineering community in Korea. The new technology gives a more flexible possibility in terms of longer span and lower height of the girder. Under this circumstance, many new-type bridges are expected to be constructed and replaced existent railway bridges. Among aforementioned bridges, this study investigates the dynamic performance of a detensionable & retensionable prestressed concrete (DRPC) girder bridge. The basic concept of the DRPC is based on the conventional prestressed concrete girder bridge but is able to control prestressing force by introducing the secondary prestressing. A full scale DRPC specimen was constructed and modal tests were conducted to obtain the natural frequency and damping ratio of the specimen. Numerical analyses are the carried out at different constant speeds based on the measured dynamic properties. The results show that the dynamic response of DRPC bridge is well within the dynamic ranges specified in the specifications.

In this study, two damage detection techniques are applied to the railway tunnel liner based on the static deformation data. Models based on uniform reduction of stiffness and smeared crack concept are both employed, and the efficiency and relative advantage are compared with each other. Numerical analyses arc performed on the idealized tunnel structure and the effect of white noise, common in most measurement data, is also investigated to better understand the suitability of the proposed models. As a result, model 1 based on uniform stiffness reduction method is shown to be relatively insensitive to the noise, while model 2 with the smeared crack concept is proven to be easily applied to the field situation since the effect of stiffness reduction is rather small. Finally, real deformation data of a rail tunnel in which health monitoring system is in operation are introduced to find the possible damage and it is shown that the prediction shows quite satisfactory result.
