The amount of old apartment complexes are increasing rapidly by supplying large quantity of their construction since mid-1980s. By growing number of old apartment complexes that need to be remodeled, not only studies about this issue are necessary, but a study about parking area issue in the old apartment complexes is also necessary for its importance and practical point. The purpose of this research is to be available as a basic material for parking area expansion plan. Through a couple of completed cases, we confirmed the characters of parking area expansion plan and find factor from the cases. After that we revised the factors through some of uncompleted cases. A result through the analysis, simply we divided by inner factor and outer factor, and classified by its items. Inner factors are present land condition and requirements of the inhabitants. Outer factors are economical efficiency and architectural building codes.

The domestic construction industry in the last 30 to 40 years has accumulated a large stock of buildings that are quickly and there physical age is quickly becoming apparent. Contemporary changes in architecture are fueling changes driven by the increased demand for these new services and facilities. The cost of energy and raw materials are on the rise, and dealing with the waist generated from the creation of new buildings is an emerging problem in the industry today. Thus, building remodeling has emerged as an alternative do to its increased efficiency regarding material usage. The participation of users in the development stages of a remodeling project is essential to its effective implementation in projects. The BIM model used for the design process of building remodeling is the most effective way, due to the increased efficiency gained in many areas. This study will examine a pilot project where a BIM based process was used in the remodeling of an apartment.

Domestic construction industry the last 30-40 years the accumulated stock of buildings of physical aging buildings is underway. Thus, the increased demand for services and facilities in accordance with changes in contemporary usage has increased the need for change. However, for new construction of energy and raw material prices rise, due to the increase in waste generation is emerging because of problems building a waste of remodeling suppression that can ease the burden and cost has emerged as an alternative. The remodeling design is in early consideration of more complex and require extensive participant"s decision will go through the design process than new construction. This design process, the use of BIM-model will be the most effective way. This study considered BIM based remodeling architectural design through a pilot project.

This paper is on the Mid-span deflection and the failure temperature of H-beams in fire that investigated mainly on the parameters of load ratios and simply supported boundary condition in considering the behaviour of steel beams at predicted uniformly elevated temperatures. The physical properties of steel material at elevated temperatures are according to EC3 Part 1.2 and the strength of the steel beams in fire show that they are governed by the ratios of lateral length to the radius of gyration about minor axis.

Capacity spectrum method based on inelastic displacement ratio is a excellent way to compute the performance point about earthquake simply and accurately for structures having great higher-mode effects such as mid-, high-rise buildings. Using both response spectrum of earthquake and ESDOF system converted to MDOF system, it estimates the roof maximum inelastic displacement for the earthquake excitation. The previous study have proposed the inelastic displacement ratio, collapse strength ratio for strength-limit bilinear SDOF system that mimics the behavior of steel moment resisting frame very closely. The seismic demands for 20-story SMRF buildings located in Seattle, LA due to the probability earthquake for 2, 10% in 50 years were computed by proposed method and nonlinear RHA, and then compared. The proposed procedure demonstrates a sufficient degree of accuracy until the collapse of structure, making it useful for practical application estimating in seismic demands for SMRF structures.
