미술관 서포터즈 활동이 미술인식의 변화와 자기계발에 미치는 영향

본 논문의 목적은 질적 연구를 통하여 미술관 서포터즈 활동이 참여자들의 미술인식 변화와 자기계발에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구하는 것이다. 더 나아가 본 연구를 통하여 미술관 서포터즈 활동의 가치와 의의를 발견하는 것에 그 목적을 두고 있 다. 본 논문은 참여적 실행연구 방법의 연구 설계에 따라 2016년 4월부터 11월까지 총 8개월 동안 진행하였으며, 연구기관은 우리나라에서 미술관 서포터즈를 실행하고 있는 미술관 중 우민아트센터로 선정하였다. 또한 연구 대상자는 우민아트센터에서 실행하는 미술관 서포터즈 참여자 중 연구자를 포함한 총 8명으로 선정하였다. 본 연구를 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술관 서포터즈를 통해 미술관의 방문과 미술활동 들을 접하게 되면서 새로운 현상에 대한 즐거움과 더불어 미술에 대한 인식에 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 둘째, 미술관 서포터즈는 미술활동을 통해 참여자들이 미적지식 과 미적안목, 심미적 안정, 생활 속에서 문화예술을 즐기고 향유하는 것에 더욱 관심을 갖도록 하였다. 마지막으로, 미술관 서포터즈는 그저 흥미와 재미를 넘어 참여자 에게 진정으로 유익한 경험을 제공한다는 가치를 지닌다. 참여자들은 다양한 서포터 즈 활동을 통해 기존에 갖고 있던 트라우마를 극복하기도 하였고, 자신의 역할에 대해 자부심을 느끼며 책임감과 사명감을 갖게 되었다. The purpose of this research is to explore an influence of art museum supporters’ activities on participants’ awareness of art and self-development based on the qualitative study. Also, this study is to find out a meaning and value of supporters’ program promoted by Wumin Art Center. This research applied to the participatory action research, participatory observations, and in-depth interviews to conduct qualitative results. There are 8 participants including me who applied to the art museum supporter program that is being offered from Wumin Art Center in April, 2016. The findings are as follows: Art museum supporters’ activities not only gave to the participants of this study pleasures and excitements but also provided the participants with valuable experiences. Moreover, the art museum supporters’ program invited more people to enjoy art and achieved the promotional purpose of the museum. Also, the supporters’ program helped the supporters’ happiness and provided better quality of life along with various benefits. Therefore, This research confirmed that the art museum supporters’ program enhanced participants’ awareness of art and supported their self-development
