Analytical method for prochloraz in cabbage, apple, pepper, mandarin, and hulled rice was established by conversion it to 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (TCP). Crop samples were extracted with acetonitrile, and partitioned with dichloromethane. The sample extracts were hydrolyzed with pyridine hydrochloride in a vial by heating for 1 hour, and analyzed with GC-ECD after partitioning with dichloromethane. Method quantification limit (MQL) of prochloraz was 0.01 mg/kg. Recoveries at 0.1 mg/kg level was 105-113% while at 0.5 mg/kg level was 82-87%. In both of the cases CV was less than 10%. Through this procedure soxhlet extraction and refluxing apparatus of conventional method were discarded and simple solvent extraction and small vial were successfully employed, resulting in simple, rapid, economic and more precise method.
포도의 재배기간 중 살충제 bifenthrin의 생산단계 농약잔류허용기준의 설정

Pre-Harvest Residue Limit (PHRL) of bifenthrin during cultivation of grape was established by utilizing the dissipation curve and biological half-life of bifenthrin calculated from the analysis of 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 days after treatment of bifenthrin. Grape sample was extracted and partitioned with acetonitrile and dichloromethane, respectively, and bifenthrin was determined with GC/ECD. Limit of quantitation (LOQ) of bifenthrin was 0.01 ng. Recoveries at two fortification levels of 0.1 and 0.5 ㎎ ㎏<SUP>-1</SUP> were 104.08 ± 1.24 and 92.25 ± 3.13%, respectively. The biological half-lives of bifenthrin were about 21 days at standard application rate, while, 23 days at double application rate. Dissipation of bifenthrin on grape was not influenced by growth dilution effect. The PHRLs of bifenthrin were recommended as 0.60 and 0.55 ㎎ ㎏<SUP>-1</SUP> for 10 and 5 days before harvest, respectively.
