광역도시권의 스프롤 특성: 시군구 스케일의 다차원적 스프롤 측정을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 광역도시권의 시군구 스케일에서 도시 스프롤의 공간적 특성을 고찰하는 것이다. 밀도, 복합토지이용, 중심성, 가로접근성을 고려한 다차원적 스프롤 측정 방법을 통해 스프롤의 진행 수준이 지역에 따라 다양함을 실증적으로 확인할 수 있었다. 중심도시의 구·군은 압축적이고 조밀한 경향을 보이는 반면 주변지역 시·군은 스프롤의 수준이 높게 나타날 것이라는 일반적인 예상은 밀도지수에서만 나타났고, 종합지수와 그 밖의 요인별 지수에서는 상당히 다른 결과를 보여주었다. 이는 다양한 스프롤 요인을 고려한 종합지수를 해석하는 것이 쉽지 않음을 보여준다. 네 가지 요인을 바탕으로 군집분석을 실시한 결과, 스프롤 유형을 분류할 수 있는 총 4개의 군집이 확인되었다. 각 광역도시권은 이들 군집의 구성 비율에 따라 스프롤 유형에 따른 특성이 드러났다. 서울권과 부산권은 밀도가 높고 산업 구조가 다양한 대도시적 성격이 강하며, 광주권과 대전권은 중심도시의 도시적 성격과 주변지역의 도농통합 또는 특화된 기능의 이원화된 특성을 보인다. 대구권은 모든 군집 유형이 비슷한 비율을 보여, 다양한 스프롤 유형이 나타나고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 확인한 스프롤의 공간적 특성은 보다 세분화된 도시계획 및 정책 수립에 실용적으로 활용될 수 있다는 측면에서 의의를 지닌다. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of urban sprawl in the sigungu scale of the metropolitan regions (MR). Measuring sprawl based on multiple dimensions considering density, land use mix, centering, and street accessibility proves the regional diversity of sprawl. Only density index shows compacting in the core regions and sprawling in the peripheral regions, and the other indexes have different distributions of sprawl. The results show that it is difficult to analyze the composite index including various sprawl factors. Cluster analysis based on sprawl factor indexes shows four clusters in sprawl types. Each MR identifies its specifications according to the ratio of clusters. Seoul MR and Busan MR have high density and diverse industrial structure, and Gwangju MR and Daejeon MR show the dual systems urban in the core regions and rural/specialized in the peripheral regions. Daegu MR shows diverse sprawl types. The characteristics of urban sprawl based on this research contribute to practically establish more detailed urban planning and policy.

The objective of the present study is to perform experiments for water filled cavity heated and cooled from the side at Ra=8.5×108. This experiment can provide validation database of the standard k-ε turbulence model for single-phase turbulent natural convection which has been regarded as one of the important phenomena in nuclear safety. For the natural convection inside a cavity, temperature and velocity were obtained by thermometry and PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) methods. These results would be used for validation of standard k-ε turbulence model.
