        Photothermal therapy(PTT) is a therapy for selective ablation of the tumor by using a photothermal effect. However, in spite of using the photothermal effect, which is one of the fields of heat transfer, the research on heat transfer for photothermal therapy is insufficient. In photothermal therapy, GNPs (gold nanoparticles) are used as a photothermal enhancer to selective ablation of tumor. At this time, since the photothermal effect are different depending on the characteristics of the GNPs, and thermal and optical conditions of NIR laser, it is important to find an optimal condition suitable for selective ablation for effective photothermal therapy. In previous photothermal therapy studies, the temperature distribution in tumor tissues has been studied qualitatively. However, the correlation between the death of tumor tissue and thermal and optical conditions of NIR laser has not been quantitatively studied in terms of heat transfer. Therefore, in this study, the conditions (e.g. intensity, beam radius) of the lasers satisfying the apoptosis temperature (43℃ ~ 50℃ , which can effectively ablate tumors) were obtained for various sizes of tumor (width: 2mm ~ 10mm, depth: 0.5mm ~ 4.5mm) using numerical analysis. And quantitative analysis of the apoptosis rate of tumor tissue according to the thermal and optical conditions of photothermal therapy was performed.

      • 무인 자동차를 위한 실시간 모션 플래닝 계산 기법

        모션 플래닝 분야에서 실시간으로 주변을 감지하고 움직이는 로봇의 경우 변화하는 장애물들에 대한 동적인 감지 및 분석과 제한된 경로 계산 시간 등의 제약이 따른다. 특히 무인 자동차와 같이 제어의 제약을 고려한 충돌이 없는 유효 경로 생성은 그 자체 만으로도 중요한 이슈이다. 본 연구에서는 샘플링 기반의 알고리즘인 RRT<SUP>*</SUP> 를 이용한 무인 자동차의 경로 생성기법에 대한 연구와 실시간 경로 생성을 위해 고려되는 부가적인 요소들의 유기적인 결합에 대해 소개한다. In motion planning field, it is necessary for the mobile robots which have ability to recognize the surrounding environments and move by itself, to detect, analyze the obstacles and compute feasible trajectory in real time. Especially, in case of car-like robots which have control constraints, it is challenging to only generate a feasible trajectory in a limited time. In this paper, we extend sampling based algorithm RRT<SUP>*</SUP> for autonomous vehicle with control constraints to takes advantage of dubins path, and its simplicity for easing trajectory calculation. In addition, we show some simple collision detection technique from dubins path.

        여름철의 기온이 꾸준히 상승함에 따라 에어컨의 사용량도 증가하고 있다. 또한 에어컨의 사용량이 증가함에 따라 고장상황도 자주 발생하게 된다. 수리를 위해 가장 먼저 수행되어야 할 것은 고장의 원인에 대하여 파악하는 것이다. 현재 사용자들은 에어컨이 가동될 때 고장의 정도를 알지 못하고 치명적인 결함이 발생한 후에 고장상황을 인지할 수 있다. 그리고 또한 고장의 원인은 직접 알지 못한다. 따라서 고장의 원인을 판단해야 하기 때문에 수리에 소요되는 시간이 증가하게 된다. 이로 인해 사용자가 수리에 소모되는 시간동안 에어컨을 사용하지 못함으로 인하여 불편함을 느끼게 되고 이를 해결해야 할 필요가 있다. 이 문제의 개선을 위하여 본 연구에서는 머신러닝 기법중 SVC 기법을 통하여 고장 상황에 대한 정보를 정성적으로 파악하였다. 그리고 고장상황에 대한 정보를 파악함으로써 사용자의 쾌적성과 에너지 효율 향상을 추구하고자 한다.

        문명화 사명과 선교에 대한 영국인 관리들의 태도 : 19세기 중엽 인도 마드라스 관구를 중심으로

        This article is to study newly the relationship between the civilization and the Christianity that British officials in Madras Presidency India attempted to spread among Indian People in the middle of the 19th century. To date, the British officials ruled colonial India have been regarded as an unique group pursued to spread civilization in India with neutral attitude. Previous studies claimed British officials and missionaries only had common interest in modernization of India as such they did not pay much attention to the religious attitude of government officials. However, those officials were not a simple group with neutral attitude. This article claims that the dual attitude of officials toward Christian mission caused opposition from Indian elite group as well as subsequent instability of the colonial empire. To support this argument, in this article an emphasis is placed on the attitude change of British officials and response of Indian elites of pre & post Indian uprising in 1857. The British were shocked at the Indian revolt, thus the policy of the government was requested to be changed. However, the officials of Madras Presidency did not change even after the Uprising in 1857. That was because the Madras Presidency in the southern region could maintain stability contrary to the Northern area that was swept by the shock of the Indian uprising. Above all, those high ranking officials in the Madras Presidency believed that the active missionary activities in this region as well as the existence of relatively higher number of Indian converts contributed to the stability of empire. Therefore, the Madras officials pursued reform persistently against the home government. After all, the civilizing mission and religious fervor of the British officials brought about tensions with Indian elites who governed Indian society, and those were expressed in the Tinnevelly and the Travancore disturbances. The grievance of Indian elites was revealed by the Madras Native Association. Madras Native Association sent a petition to the home government, in which they criticized unfair behaviors of British officials and requested immediate correction with regard to the oppression on traditional culture and the problem of educational policy. Superficially, the petition of Madras Native Association seemed not to be accepted, but in reality the changed circumstance was being accepted. Unlike to be known previously, many colonial officials believed Christianization of India was their mission, and their pro-missionary attitude served as a decisive factor that threatened the stability of Empire. It goes without saying that the officials endeavored to observe neutrality in public as government administrators, and their efforts were expressed in the name of civilizing and reform. Nevertheless, Indian elites misconstrued reforms as a strategy to christianize Indians due to officials' private support for missionaries. Finally, to analyze and understand the dual attitude of colonial officials will not only provide help in figuring out the relationship between civilizing mission of government officials and missionaries but also be useful to comprehend interrelationship between the British Empire and Christianity.

        코시긴과 그의 동료들 – 코시긴 개혁의 인적 요소 형성 과정

        Alexei Nikolayevich Kosygin served as the most crucial figure in undertaking the economic reform of 1965 in the Soviet Union. The whole process of the 1965 economic reform, which was carried forward by a group of cadres with Kosygin as the center, had been closely related to a human network materialized through his political activities in Moscow. Kosygin was chosen as one of the principal economic managers by the central authorities of Moscow in the late 1930s. This promotion stemmed from not only Kosygin’s performance in works, but also a human network he endeavored to create with high-profile cadres in the Party against the background of generational transition in the Soviet society based on larger societal upheaval in the 1930s. The most crucial turning point of Kosygin’s political career was when he began to take charges of wartime mobilization and distribution of resources as well as asset transfers in the Second World War. As the war approached to an end, Kosygin took charge of reforming currency and abolishing the ration system, both of which were key post-war reconstruction policies, starting to collaborate with currency and financial experts hailing from the Soviet Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Soviet Union. During this period, Kosygin accumulated experience in addressing the central issues of finance, budget, and monetary circulation in the post-war reconstruction of the Soviet economy and simultaneously familiarized himself with various attitudes of currency and financial experts regarding the future direction of the Soviet economy. Though Kosygin was out of the central posts as he was involved in “Leningrad affairs” for 4 to 5 years, he rather made a larger human network working in various economic offices and departments. Kosygin began to work in the State Planning Committee in 1957 and then as the First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, which were directly related to his career in drawing the 1965 economic reform. During this period, Kosygin directed the planning and management of the Soviet economy in general, constructing the fundamental frame of economic reforms through especially working together with groups of economic experts at varying levels up until 1965.

      • 다양한 가열조건에 따른 광열 효과를 이용한 편평세포암 사멸에 관한 수치적 연구

        Recently, photothermal therapy has attracted attention as an alternative treatment to conventional surgical techniques because it does not bleed out, and patients quickly recover after treatment compared to incisional surgery. Photothermal therapy is a treatment technique that induces tumor death by increasing the temperature using the photothermal effect, which converts light energy into thermal energy. This study conducted a numerical analysis based on heat transfer to induce apoptosis temperature of tumor tissue for various heating conditions in photothermal therapy. Numerical analysis using the Monte Carlo method was performed on multi-layered skin structure containing squamous cell carcinoma. Through the effective apoptosis retention ratio, numerical analysis results show the quantitative correlation for various variables. This study showed an optimal condition for maximizing apoptosis within tumor tissue while minimizing thermal damage to surrounding tissues under various heating conditions.

        자유학기 ‘주제선택 활동’을 위한 ‘식물공장 만들기’ 주제 중심 TEAMS 통합교육프로그램 개발

        이 연구의 목적은 자유학기 ‘주제선택 활동’을 위한 ‘식물공장 만들기’주제중심 TEAMS 통합교육프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 다음을 단계들을 통해 통합교육프로그램을 개발하고자 한다. 교육프로그램은 준비, 개발, 개선의 3단계로 개발되었다. 준비단계에서는 자유학기와 TEAMS 통합교육의 취지와 내용에 맞추어 프로그램의 목적을 설정하고 요구를 분석하였다. 이후 세 가지 관점에서 통합유형을 설정하고 교육프로그램의 주제를 선정하였다. 개발단계에서는 목표 설정 및 학습경험의 선정과 조직을 하였다. 선정된 목표와 학습경험을 바탕으로 구체적인 교육프로그램을 개발하였다. 개선단계에서는 제작된 교육프로그램에 대해 전문가 평가를 실시한 후 전문가 검토 의견을 반영하여 과제를 보완했다. 개발된 자유학기 ‘주제선택 활동’을 위한 ‘식물공장 만들기’주제 중심 TEAMS 통합교육프로그램은 기술을 중심으로 진행되는 TEAMS 통합교육 프로그램이다. 교육프로그램은 총 8차시로 개발되었다. 교육프로그램은 교수자료와 학습자료로 구성되어있으며 교수자료는 교육프로그램 소개와 연구자료로, 학습자료는 학생활동지로 구성하였다. The aim of this study is to develop a Making plant factory theme-centered TEAMS integrated education program for the free-semester Theme selection activities . To achieve the objectives of this study, we intend to develop an integrated education program through the following steps: The education program was developed in three stages: preparation, development, and improvement. In the preparation phase, the purpose of the program was set and the needs were analyzed in accordance with the purpose and content of the free semester and TEAMS integrated education. Subsequently, the integration type was established from three perspectives and the subject of the education program was selected. In the development stage, goals were set and learning experiences were selected and organized. Specific training programs were developed based on selected goals and learning experiences. In the improvement phase, expert evaluation was conducted on the produced training program and the task was supplemented by reflecting expert review opinions. TEAMS Integrated Education Program, which focuses on Making Plant Factories for the developed free semester s Theme selection activities is a TEAMS integrated education program centered on technology. The education program was developed in eight cities. The educational program consists of teaching materials and learning materials, and the teaching materials are introduced to educational programs and research materials, and the learning materials are composed of student activity sites.
