This research is to clarify the corelation between the activities of home management and communication in the family. The problems to be investigated are as follow; 1. According to the communication level in the family are there any differences in the activicties of home management? and the activities of home resources? 2. According to the time amount the family members communicate with each other are there any differences in the activities of home management? and the activities of home resources? 3. According to the person with whom homemaker communicate mostly in a day are there differences in the activities of home management? and the activities of home resources? 4. a) According to the number of children are there any differences in the activities of home management? b) Among the contents of family communication what is the family oriented the most conversation and the least conversation? In order to clarify the above stated problems, the data were obtained from the questionaires with 120 items; 60 items of communication and 60 items activities of home management. The selected sample is composed of 209 homemakers of middle and upper class families in Seoul, Puchon, Chonan. SPSS Computer system was used for the statistical analysis of the data. The results were as follow; 1. The higher was the communication level in the family the greater homemaker's activities of home management and the greater homemaker's activities of home resources were (P .001) 2. The longer was the family communication hour in a day, the greater homemaker's activities of homemanagement and the greater homemaker's activities of home resources were (P .001) 3. The homemaker conversing mostly with her daughter in a day showed the highest activities of home management of the three. (Next, with her son was higher, last, with her husband was the lowest.) 4. a) The homemaker with two children showed the greatest activities of home management. (72.3 out of 100 points) b, The most interest topic the family members communicate with each other was about their children. To summerize, in order to lead effective activities of home management and effective activities of home resources, communication in the family is necessary and indispensable.

This study aimed to investigate the relationship of kindergarten children's temperament and their mothers' child rearing behavior. The subjects of the study were 214 kindergarteners and their mothers in Seoul. The modified PTQ (Parent and Teacher Temperament Questionaire) for children 3-7 years of age and the IPBI(Iowa Parent Behavior Inventory: Mother Form) were administered to measure children's temperament and parenting behaviors. The statistical procedures used for data analyses were correlations, and canonical correlation analysis. Results indicated that there were significant correlations between children's temperament and their mothers' parenting behaviors. The canonical correlation analysis indicated that independent varables-children's temperament accounted for about 9.8% of the variation in the parenting behavior-variables.

The prrpose of this study is to investigate the need and perception of home economics education for middle school male pupils. The data were collected using questionnaires from 630 male pupils in Seoul The major results of this study were summarized as follows; (1)The male pupils generally perceived Subject's value of home economics education. (2)The male pupils in 1 grade interested in home economics education ut the higher grade, the fewer interest they are. (3)The male pupils recognized subject of home economi9cs education as practical joyfur subject. (4)The male pupils took the affirmative view in home economics education. (5)The male pupils wanted the same textbook as females.

Today's education according to the rapidly changing society needs utilization of instructional media in all school. The purpose of this study is to show how to use projective media and multimedia in educational situation. Recommendations based on the results of this study are as follows; (1) Have the confidence in use of media. (2) Attempt to make the materials for yourself such as TP and powerpoint. (3) Use appropriately slides or VCR.

본 연구는 자녀부양이 주는 것과 같은 행복감을 노인들에게 주기 위하여 노인공공가정 경영의 모형을 설계하였다. 거부감이 적고 입소하기 쉬운 대체가정을 만들어 노인부양을 함으로써 노인들 자신은 물론 다른 가족의 삶의 질을 높이고, 노인들이 인생마감을 차분히 준비할 수 있는 곳을 설립하고자 하는 데 있다. 경영원칙은 이윤추구를 제한하며 창출된 이윤은 공공가정경영에 피드백시킴으로써 노인공공가정 발전과 확산을 도모한다.

This study is to review Yulgok's and Pestalozzi's educational thoughts, to grasp their view-points of home and to find some implications for the importance of home. Their educational ideas are common in various aspects. In Summary, two Pedagogists' educational purposes are; 1. both humanity retrieval, namely A wholeminded personality education 2. importance of home education 3. A harmony and unity Pestalozzi argues harmonious cultivation of three abilities, that is, intellect , morality, and the skills, on the other hand, Yulgok does three ways for the saint, that is, pure mind (居敬), inquiring things rightly(窮理) ,a strenuous effort (力行) 4. Emphasis of ethical education 5. Emphasis of familiarity and self-activity 6. Thought of human equality 7. importance of home discipline In conclusion, the results above suggest humanistic education in domestic life. Only this method should contribute to prevent from non-humanity and industrial anomies.
