An improved MPPT converter with current compensation method for small-scaled PV -applications is presented in this paper. The proposed method implements maximum power point tracking (MPPT) by variable reference current which is continuously changed during one sampling period. Therefore, the power transferred to the load is increased above 9% by the proposed MPPT converter with current compensation method As a result, the utilization efficiency of Photovoltaic (PV)-panel can be increased. In addition, as it doesn't use digital signal processor (DSP), this MPPT method has the merits of both a cost efficiency and a simple control circuit design<br/> Therefore, it is considered that the proposed MPPT method is proper to low power, low cost PV-applications The concept and control principles of the proposed MPPT method are explained in detail and its validity of the proposed method is verified through several simulated results

This paper presents a new sensorless control scheme using simple duty signal feedback technique in DC-DC converters. The proposed sensorless control scheme (DFC) has the characteristics that they show the same as operation performance of current mode control by using duty feedback technique without current sensor as well as present better dynamic response performance than conventional sensorless current mode control (SCM) in case that input source is perturbed by step change or DC input source includes the harmonics Also, the proposed control scheme has good noise immunity and simple control circuits since they have one feedback loop, and can be applied to all DC-DC converters. The concept and control principles of the proposed control scheme are explained in detail and the validity of the proposed control scheme is verified through several interesting simulated results.<br/> <br/>

This research has been motivated for developing an robust automotive data cleansing in adverse weather condition. To demonstrate this analysis of superiority, result was varified with conventional method using random forest ensemble classifier, Cat Boost classifier, XGB Boost classifier. The valid feature of our results was GLCM Sum Entropy , GLCM Run length nonuniformity.

A thermal camera is a device that creates an image by capturing infrared energy, unlike an optical camera. Thus, to compensate for areas that optical cameras cannot detect, thermal cameras are often used with optical cameras. In the study, we propose a method to automatically and exactly match two images through the features of thermal and optical cameras. A distance measuring sensor is used to create a lookup table of a coordinate calibration area according to the distance. We matched accurately optical and thermal images through the created lookup table. The proposed calibration method was proven by obtaining precisely matched fusion images from validation experiments.

LKAS(Lane Keeping Assist system) is designed to help keep vehicle centered in a lane when over a certain speed. However, The LKAS system may work improperly under bad environmental conditions, such as lane is dirty or there is matter on lane. In the specific case, a recognition error can occur or the lane can be unrecognized even if the LKAS has been trained to recognize the lane in various scenario. Therefore, countermeasures need to be prepared by obtaining the front images in the specific case. In this study, we suggests data acquisition system that confirm LKAS operation state, check speed of vehicle from dashboard, collect a photo and video at the time when LKAS turns from ON to OFF, and record GPS in specific position. The system consists of IMC-link which real-time vehicle equipment, GPS, and we made image processing device to acquire vehicle information from dashboard. We verified the system operation by consisting monitoring screen which can be seen instant images and stored GPS data, when the LKAS fails to recognize lane through actual vehicle driving scenario.

To improve the detection accuracy of autonomous vehicles system, a technology that integrates thermal and optical images is being developed in bad weather. First of all, it requires a calibration method to fuse images. For the calibration of images, a thermal imaging camera must be able to clearly distinguish areas with a calibration target that accurately creates heating areas. In the study, we used reflectors to prevent thermal diffusion. This allows the thermal imaging camera to accurately distinguish areas. Also, we developed an optical camera calibration method that uses an identical calibration target with the thermal imaging camera.

전 세계적으로 자율주행 기술의 개발 및 상용화 관련 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 이에 주행 상황 중 객체 검출 정보는 가장 기본적이며, 중요한 정보 중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 반자율주행 중 발생할 수 있는 충돌 상황을 인지하여 운전자에게 충돌 경고를 하기 위하여, 카메라 센서 활용한 국내 도로 주행데이터를 취득하고, 이를 기반으로 주행상황에서 마주칠 수 있는 주요 동적/정적객체의 검출 방법 및 결과를 공유한다.
