The sound inside a passenger cabin is composed of many elements, a fundamental element of which is irritating noises comprised of buzzes, squeaks and rattles. Customer perception of buzz, squeak and rattle (BSR) is measured by Things GoneWrong (TGW), warranty claims and JD Power surveys. 1) Speaker playing test has been adopted to evaluate and to eliminate the rattle noise of door module under the using of audio system. But there is no way to determine whether a rattle noise occurs except how to verify test listening. In this paper a quantitative approach for the rattle noise under the speaker playing test is supposed. The Hanileh rattle index was developed using a high pass filter, hiss noise reduction filter, SPL data with the 0.2msec delta time, the peak value and fluctuation. This article includes a test results which shows the improvement of a rattle noise detection capability about the Hanileh rattle index.
도어트림 그립핸들 마찰이음 근본개선을 위한 내구 시험법 개발 및 개선연구

In this paper, we develop a durability test method that can verify the noise caused by the repeated load on the door trim grip handle. The test method was developed in consideration of the load mode and durability test cycle applied to the grip handle. In order to verify the validity of the method, we demonstrated the door trim grip handle noise that occurred in the field claim with the product in the early stage of mass production through the developed test method. Finally, It is used to detect and improve the noise of subsequent development products through the currently developed test method. 본 논문에서는 기존에 없었던 도어트림 그립핸들에서 반복된 하중으로 인해 발생하는 소음을 사전에 검증할 수 있는 내구 시험법을 개발하고자 하였다. 시험 방법은 그립 핸들이 받는 하중 모드, 내구 횟수를 고려하여 개발하였으며, 시험 방법의 유효성을 확인하기 위해, 양산 초기 제품에 시험 법을 적용하여 필드클레임에서 발생한 도어트림 그립 핸들 소음을 재현하였다. 최종적으로, 현재 개발된 시험법을 통해서 후속 개발 제품의 소음 검출 및 개선하는 데 활용하고 있다.

Global car makers or component makers use Door assembly to evaluate Buzz, Squeak, Rattle (BSR) performance of vehicles. The purpose of this study is to provide instructions for performing Objective Squeak and Rattle Door Subsystem and Component Testing. Infact The Door system is one of the major source for vehicle interior noise under a variety of load conditions. If we find noise source of door system, evaluation of customer will be going up. One point of this study's objects is to find easy method for the door subsystem and component in-vehicle road vibration. One point of our objects is to making the BSR test method of static door assembly subsystem and component in-vehicle idle condition. Another object of this study is focuced how can we find BSR noise in Door Speaker's vibration working. This paper describes three challengeable methods by noise measurement of Door subsystem or component. But this paper helps many of engineers to direct innovative solution and overcome many of BSR problems.
측면 FMH 시험과 측면 Sled 시험의 상관관계 연구

This paper describes the differences of armrest stiffness for door trim in abdomen forces by simple sled test method and FMH test method to simulate Korean side impact regulation. In the sled test, the door inner panel which was deformed in the full scale test was rigidly set on the sled, and impacted the dummy. Even if the sled moved in normal rail used in HyGe sled facility, the dummy responses were correlated with full vehicle tests in order to study occupant protection practically.<br/> In the FMH test, the door inner panel was changed with jig, and was impacted the impactor. Even if the impactor moved by the pressure transducer used in FMH facility, the impactor has the calibrated censor and set the impact location and angle, and impact velocity. In the study of sled tests, the differences of door trim especially armrest are studied in terms of abdomen forces measured from EROSID abdomen 3 force sensors and impactor's sensors. In conclusion, it was found that both the sled test with deformed door and FMH test were a useful and efficient method to study on occupant protection.
플라스틱 재질 산포 구축 통한 도어트림 공차 분석 신뢰도 증진 연구

This study is on the enhancement of the reliability of tolerance analysis in manufacturing door trims of door interior components for motor vehicle boarding consisting of plastic. The analysis program used is based on a Monte-Carlo simulation that enters dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) in the drawing and analyzes the cumulative tolerance based on probability after defining movement between parts. The spread of resin, seasonal and dimensional changes used in door trim is obtained and applied to the tolerance analysis to increase reliability.

The main objective of the presented method is to develop the adequate dynamic test procedure and injury assessment criteria. The current all existing passenger vehicles of the front shape were measured and categorized into three groups according to IHRA recommendation, and the effect of vehicle shape on pedestrian kinematics was investigated to define the head impact speed, head impact angle and WAD with the various impact speeds and walking postures as the test procedures. In this paper, JARI pedestrian computer model, TNO MADYMO computer model and FEM H-model were used to configure and compare the pedestrian dynamic behaviors during the various impact events. With head impact tests and simulations, the design feasibility, lead times for auto industry and suitable injury criteria were investigated.
