It is impossible to categorize the leisure activities clearly, but it is necessary to divide the leisure activities into category and items in a point of this time. The purpose of this study is researching the preceding studies, finding the initial leisure activity table and obtaining the modified leisure activity table by depth interview of 6 leisure experts. First, leisure activity is categorized into 9, that is Sports, Table games, Outdoor activities, Arts, Social activities, Relaxing activities, Watching activities, Media activities, and etc. Second, the items of each category are as follows; Sports: team-sports, individual sports, aquatic ·underwater·air sports, martial arts and the other sports; Table games: Baduk, Korean flower cards, the Korean chess, board games and cards; Outdoor activities: climbing, fishing, camping, traveling and walking·drive: Arts: painting, singing and playing musical instruments, making poems or something and handcraft and sculpture; Social activities: meeting friends, doing something with family, eating and drinking out, volunteer activity and religious activities; Relaxing activities: recess and nap, chatting, sauna, reading books or cartoons and reading newspaper or magazines; Watching activities: watching TV, watching movie or DVD, listening music or radio, watching sports events and watching concerts and museum.; Media activities: computer games, internet surfing, computer chatting, sending message by PC or cell phone and managing homepage; Etc:

The purpose of this study is to define Dance Sport(DS) concept, research the history and present the theoretical bases of DS values. DS is competitive dance orientated Ballroom dance that composed of 5 standard dances-Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Vienne Waltz and 5 Latin dances-Cha cha cha, Samba, Rumba, Pasodoble, Jive. IDSF control DS competitions that can be divided the Modern, Latin, Ten-dance, Formation, and Amateur, Professional. According to DS history, in the western society Court dance in 15-16C became social dance and Ballroom dance in 19C among the people. After Ballroom section of ISTD had been made in 1924, international DS championships verve held very often. In 1997 IOC recognized IDSF was a full member. So exhibition game of DS was held in 1998 Asian game, and maybe DS will be a proper event of Olympics in 2008. In Korea western dance was introduced not a artistic dance but a recreational dance in 1905, it spreaded illegally, negatively and corruptly until 1950. But official dance competitions were held, the Korea Association of Education of Dance Sport : KAEDS was organized in 1970. KAEDS and other associations related DS tried to educate DS fairly to the masses, so DS became to recognize good sport and leisure activity. DS have physical, spiritual and social values. First DS can achieve balanced development of body, heath promotion, solution of obesity and shaping of rhythm sense. Second it pursuit the fun, and purify the emotion. Third it can attain ideal view about the other sex and social problems, and then it will be a best leisure activity.

This study examined the leisure value and meaning related to satisfaction and continuous participation in volunteer activities of skilled volunteers on college students for improving the volunteering. Along with these volunteers who were proficient in the English language, The outreach English play for institutionalized child.. was planned, prepared and performed in six different facilities. The leisure value and meaning ascribed to the activities of skilled volunteers and the effect of their continuous participation were analyzed by aqualitative research method. Results were analysed according to the phenomenological process by Giorgi`s4-four steps. First, the leisure value of the skilled volunteers was self-development. Through skill confirmation and exhibition, the skilled volunteers became the initiations of self-development. Second, the skilled volunteers had the leisure meaning in psychological and social aspects. Subjects had psychological satisfaction through feeling confidence and accomplishment. They also were increased sociality through increased level of intimacy, mutual understanding and community consciousness. Finally, the skilled volunteer served as motivators, so their continuous leisure participation was positively influenced by their sense of frustration and vision for the future.
