Currently, the school-age population continues to decline in Korea due to social factors. On the other hand, the dormitory facilities are constantly being built and renovated. There are many problems such as construction period and on-site waste when constructed with reinforced concrete structures, which are existing construction methods. Accordingly, dormitory facilities shall be constructed using appropriate construction methods. Therefore, in this study, we will collect and organize basic data on the use status and modular system of dormitory facilities and study efficient maintenance and management when modular construction method is applied to dormitory facilities with changing demand.

This paper proposes data on current inequality that may occur when configuring a redundancy system for asymmetric 6-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors. When dual inverters are used for the stability of the system, current inequality may occur due to asynchronization of the current controller. Current characteristics were analyze when current inequality occurs under experimental conditions.

If the participants in construction site safety management perform their duties in accordance with the provisions of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, the burden on safety managers would be minimal. However, the lack of specific work guidelines for each participating entity and the greater responsibility of the safety and health general manager than the management supervisor have resulted in safety managers’ workload being increased due to the problem of management supervisors’ neglect of safety management. In this study, we conducted a survey of the safety manager’s duties and related documents during the construction project initiation, early stages, ongoing work, and disaster occurrence/investigation, and conducted interviews to improve and enhance the division of duties.
Study on Crystallization Kinetics and Thermal Properties of PCF-co-EF/PLA Blends

본 연구는 poly(cyclohexylenedimethylene furandicarboxylate-co-ethylene furandicarboxylate)(PCF-co-EF)와 poly(lactic acid)(PLA)를 블렌드하여 furan 기반의 바이오 복합재 개발을 목표로 하였다. PLA는 순수 PLA(4032D)와 첨가제가 마스터 배치된 PLA(3801X)를 사용하였다. FE-SEM을 통해 서브 마이크론의 구형 도메인 입자들이 복합재 내에 분산되어 있는 것을 통해 상용성을 확인하였고, 열적 물성 분석 및 비등온 결정화 거동 분석을 통해 PLA가 복합재의 결정화 속도를 가속시킨다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 DMA를 이용한 동적 물성 측정을 통해 복합재의 상용성 및 연성의 향상을 확인하였다. The goal of this study is to develop furan based bio-composites by blending poly(cyclohexylenedimethylene furandicarboxylate-co-ethylene furandicarboxylate) (PCF-co-EF) with poly(lactic acid) (PLA). Two types of PLA are used in this study and one is neat PLA mostly consisting of L-lactide (4032D) and the other is master batched PLA with various additives (3801X). The FE-SEM results showed sub-micron dispersion of the spherical domains in the blends, which indicates compatibility between PCF-co-EF and PLA. The thermal properties and non-isothermal crystallization kinetics shows that the PLA accelerates the rate of crystallization. Dynamic mechanical analysis showed compatibility of the blends and the improvement of ductility of the composites.
Tung oil을 이용한 바이오 기반 열경화성 수지 합성 및 이의 열적·물리적 특성 연구

식물유는 자연 유래 물질로 낮은 가격 및 친환경적이라는 장점으로 최근 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 하지만 식물유 내의 이중결합의 낮은 반응성으로 인해 고분자 합성의 기반 물질로 사용하기 위해서는 반응성이 높은 관능기로 치환하여 사용하는 경우가 많다. Tung oil은 α-eleostearic acid를 주성분으로 하는데, 이 구조는 3개의 이중결합이 공명구조로 되어있기 때문에 다른 식물유와는 달리 높은 반응성을 보인다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 tung oil을 styrene 및 divinylbenzene 등의 단량체와 양이온 중합을 통해 tung oil의 관능기 치환 과정이 없는 열경화성 수지를 합성하였으며, 각 단량체의 조성이 합성된 열경화성 수지에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 열적·기계적 물성을 측정하였다. 그 결과, tung oil-styrene-divinylbenzene 공중합체는 단일 Tg를 갖는 균일(homogeneous)한 열경화성 고분자를 형성하는 것을 확인하였으며, 기계적 물성의 변화를 통해 tung oil 및 styrene은 soft segment로써 합성된 공중합체에 탄성(elasticity)을 부여하고, divinylbenzene은 hard segment로 작용하여 합성된 공중합체에 취성(brittleness)을 부여하는 것을 확인하였다. Various investigations of vegetable oil extracted from natural resources are underway because of their low cost and environmental value. On the other hand, the double bonds in vegetable oil should be substituted to other high reactive functional groups due to their low reactivity for synthesizing bio-polymeric materials. α-eleostearic acid, which consists of a conjugated triene, is the main component of tung oil, and the conjugated triene allows tung oil to have higher reactivity than other vegetable oils. In this study, tung oil was copolymerized with styrene and divinylbenzene to make a thermoset resin without any substitution of functional groups. The thermal and mechanical properties were measured to examine the effects of the composition of each monomer on the synthesized thermoset resin. The results showed that the products have only one Tg, which means the synthesized thermoset resins are homogeneous at the molecular level. The mechanical properties show that tung oil acts as a soft segment in the copolymer and makes a more elastic product. On the other hand, divinylbenzene acts as a hard segment and makes a more brittle product.
