Recently, the vehicle engine required precision control of Air-Fuel ratio and rigid restriction of exhaust gas. Therefore, we demanded the excellent measuring equipment so as to improve of engine performance. Specially, throttle valve control is very important part in the engine control, because structure of engine dynamometer system is very complicate and it has nonlinear elements which are influenced of disturbance about vibration, heating, cooling, and energy loss so on.<br/> In this study, we proposed the method that the control technique using Fuzzy Look-up table and we obtained the satisfying result from realized the control system.<br/> <br/>

Due to the fuel economy, there was a strong upward tendency for the use of the high viscosity and poorer quality fuels. Therefore, the misfiring of engine 0CCIlfS due to the decrease of fuel quality injected, In this paper, it is to investigate theoretically the torsional vibration characteristics of the crankshaft system and flexible coupling in case of misfiring in engines. Equations of motion are written in matriix form transformed into eigen value problems and solved with a computer by iteration method. The results of theoretical analysis which is a calculation of nacural frequencies. mode shape and torsional vibratory stresses are figured and compared to experimental values.
스파크 점화기관의 가솔린 - 메탄올 연료를 사용한 기관연소 및 배기성능에 관한 연구

In recent years, the study about the high efficiency and low fuel consumption of the internal conbustion engine has been mainly proceeding. To achieve these goals, the improvement of combustion process in SI engine and the use of substitute energy are suggested. When the methanol blend fuel is used, the combustion race of the initial ignition is diminishing by high latent evaporation of methanol. But it attracts the attention because of the high octane number, and lean mixture peculiarity. Considering these facts, the gasoline-methanol blend fuel in engine operation has been used to compare and analyze the pressure development, rate of heat release, mass burned fraction, and combustion process. The results of experiment show the power increase, lean combustion and low harmful component of emission.
스파크점화 기관의 성능향상을 위한 회전형 흡배기장치의 개발에 관한 연구

In recent years, the study on the high efficiency of the internal combustion engine has been mainly proceeding. In this study, we developed rotary valve to achieve the improvement of volumetric efficiency and to be simple construction. And then made a comparative analysis between rotary and poppet valve. In this experiment, rotary valve enlarged the flow area of valve port to minimize the resistance of the fluid flow and to flow smoothly in intake and exhaust process. Indeed, valve timing was controlled properly lest positive pressure in exhaust process should affect intake process. Motoring and firing experiments were using engine speed and air-fuel ratio as the principle parameter and the full opening of throttle valve and minimum spark advance for best torque (MBT) as engine operating variables.
