It is anticipated that AC distribution system can be replaced by DC distribution system in the near future because of the operation of various distributed source or microgrid system. However DC distribution system replacing 22.9kV AC distribution line is not sufficiently studied still. This paper describes lightning overvoltage analysis among many research fields should be studied to realize DC overhead distribution systems. DC distribution system is modeled using EMTP and overvoltage is analyzed according to interval of arrestor location, earth interval of overhead grounding wire and grounding resistance. It is evaluated that analysis results can be effectively used to design of future DC distribution system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic spreading effect, such as product, added value and employment, of the Yangsan Integrated Freight Terminal by input-output analysis. To analyze the economic impacts of the Yangsan Integrated Freight Terminal, it is supposed that the total sum of investment is 260,765 million Korean currency and the total sum of revenues is 3,514,182 million Korean currency. It has the economic effect of 630,392 million Korean currency(411,179 million in product, 219,213 million in added value) in the side of construction and 4,892,173 million Korean currency(2,505,009 million in product, 2,387,164 million in added value) in the side of operation. As a result, the Yangsan Integrated Freight Terminal has the total economic spreading effect of 5,522,565 million Korean currency directly and indirectly. And the total employment promotion sums up 115,118 man-year(8,234 in construction, 106,884 in operation).
345㎸급 GIL이 연계된 혼합송전선로의 뇌서지해석 및 평가

This paper describes the characteristic and effectiveness of combined GIL transmission line through lightning surge analysis. In addition the XLPE cable is analyzed in the same condition to compare with GIL. Lighting surge analysis is carried out by EMTP/ATP-Draw to obtain overvoltage of GIL and XLPE cable at service-point and load-out area of underground line. Propagation velocity is calculated in combined transmission lines with GIL and XLPE cable. The overvoltage is also analyzed on GIL and XLPE cable with or without arrester operation. The Analysis results show that overvoltage of GIL is occurred higher than XLPE cable at the same condition. Therefore it is evaluated that the application of GIL at the field should be considered cautiously when more detailed transient analysis, another electrical testes and economic evaluations are implemented.
지중배전시스템의 개선된 중성점 접지방식 제안과 실효성에 대한 해석적 평가

In 22.9㎸ underground distribution system, power cables are provided with multiple-point ground in which each neutral line of the distribution cable(A, B, C phases) and three-wire common grounded at every connecting section. But in such grounding methods, circulating current flows between the neutral wire and grounding wire. And power loss due to circulating current also occurs in all conductors. Therefore it is getting necessary reducing circulating current in underground distribution system. This paper presents improved grounding method to overcome such problems. The proposed grounding method eliminates circulating current in the neutral line effectively and is verified that there is no electrical problem or any ineffectiveness of operating protection systems. These analyses are carried out by EMTP/ATPDraw to compare each grounding methods in steady and transient state. This grounding method suggested in this paper can be applied on real distribution system after field tests considering elimination of circulating current was implemented.

Recently test-based correlation of CAE (computer aided engineering) analysis is required in various industries including automotive department, and the research has progressed on CAE analysis modeling, material properties and boundary conditions. In this paper, we derive material properties, Young’s modulus, yield strength and tensile strength, of steering component of forging tie rod assembly, inner tie rod and outer tie rod, for CAE analysis using optimization method. We formulated a design problem to minimize the error between 1st natural frequency of modal test, buckling strength of buckling test, and CAE analysis results using gradient-based algorithm, SQP (sequential quadratic programming) optimization method sequentially. The derived material properties of forging tie rod components reveal that the error between modal test, buckling test, and CAE analysis results has reduced.

This paper describes switching surge analysis for reclosing decision in 345kV combined transmission line with GIL. Reclosing operation should be decided based on the detailed technical analysis in combined transmission line because this line includes power cable section which is week on insulation. Insulation of power cable can be breakdown at the week point in case of reclosing moment. Therefore the detailed analysis has to be carried out by considering several conditions such as charging rate, inserting resistance, arrester, length ratio of power cable section, grounding resistance, etc. Analysis is performed by EMTP/ATP.
지중송전 및 배전계통에서 알루미늄 도체 선로운용의 실용성 평가

This paper describes that the evaluation on operation practicality of Al conductor cable will be used instead of Cu conductor cable. Analysis is divided into two kinds of cases as transmission and distribution. To evaluate that Al conductor line has the insulation strength indeed safely, various analysis and calculation such as single line-to-ground fault current, lightning surge and allowance current were carried. Model was established based on real combined transmission and distribution is being used in utility with EMTP. The analysis results on Al and Cu conductor line were compared each other. It was proved that Al conductor line can be operated instead of Cu conductor line without special insulation problem in transmission and distribution, in electrical view point such as overvoltage and allowance current.
