본 연구의 목적은 결혼만족 정도가 우울을 매개로 하여 노인의 자살생각에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 이해하기 위한 이론적 모형을 제안하는데 있다. 분석을 위해 전라북도에 소재한 노인시설을 이용하는 65세 이상 노인 194명을 대상으로 1:1면접방식을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 분석은 구조방정식 모형을 사용하였다. 분석결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 먼저 결혼만족도는 자살생각에 직ㆍ간접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 결혼만족도는 우울에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 우울과 자살생각도 유의미한 영향관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 기초로 실천적 함의를 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to propose a theoretical model for understanding how marital satisfaction and depression may impact on suicide ideation of older people. This study was also focused on the mediating effect of depression. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted, and this sample was based on 194 older people aged over 65 living in Jeollabuk-Do, who had been participating in senior centers or in home care centers. A sampling method was the quota sampling using face to face interview, and an analysis method was the structural equation modeling. The main results testified by this study are as follows; First, the negative function of marital satisfaction had direct effect on the suicidal ideation and depression, while the positive function of depression had direct impacts on the suicidal ideation. Second, the depression mediated partially the association between marital satisfaction and suicidal ideation. This study theoretically contributes to the existing literatures documenting the impact of marital satisfaction on older people' suicide ideation. Not only that, but this study suggests practical and politic implication through these results.

지역사회 취약성, 지역사회자본 및 가족사회자본이 청소년의 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 과정

본 연구에서는 지역사회 취약성, 지역사회자본 및 가족사회자본이 청소년의 학업성취에 어떤 과정을 통해 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS) 4차년도(2006년)원자료를 활용하였고, 구조방정식모형 분석을 통해 지역사회 취약성, 지역 사회자본, 가족 사회자본이 청소년의 학업성취에 영향을 미치는 경로와 과정을 분석하였다. 효과분해를 통해 지역사회 취약성이 청소년의 학업성취에 미치는 주요 경로를 제시하였고, 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 활용하여 직ㆍ간접 영향의 통계적 유의미성을 검증하였다. 구조모형 분석 결과, 청소년의 학업성취에 대해 지역사회 취약성의 직접적인 영향은 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 반면, 지역사회 취약성은 지역 사회자본, 가족 사회자본을 통해 다양한 경로로 학업성취에 영향을 미치고 있었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the process of the influence of neighborhood disadvantage and social capital embedded in community and family on adolescents' academic achievement. Based on social capital theory, this study developed models of mechanisms that neighborhood disadvantage had effects on academic achievement of adolescents, and then tested the models by using the Korean National Child and Adolescent Panel Data(KYPS). The analysis method was the structural equation modeling to test the proposed models. Main results are as follows: family social capital was a more suitable mediator and affected adolescents' academic achievement than a community social capital. However, community social capital was a variable relieving negative effect of neighborhood disadvantage on family social capital, and a preceding variable related with family social capital. Furthermore, community social capital had effects on adolescents' academic achievement through family social capital indirectly.

배우자 사별노인의 우울과 적응유연성: 사회적 지지의 매개효과 검증

본 연구는 배우자 사별로 인해 우울이라는 심리적 위험상황에 처한 노인을 중심으로 이러한 상황에도 불구하고 긍정적으로 적응하는 특성, 즉, 노인의 적응유연성과 배우자 사별 노인의 우울간의 관계에서 사회적 지지가 갖는 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 분석을 위해 전라북도 K시 19개 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동에 거주하는 65세 이상의 노인 가운데 서 배우자와 사별을 경험한 200명의 노인을 대상으로 1:1면접방식을 통해 자료를 수집 하였다. 분석은 구조방정식모형을 사용하였다. 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 배우자를 사별한 노인의 우울이라는 정신건강에 초점을 두고, 우울이 노년기 삶의 질을 결정하는 적응유연성에 부정적 영향을 미친다는 사실을 밝힘으로써 배우자 사별 노인의 우울증의 위험성을 증명하였다. 또한 우울이 사회적 지지를 감소시키고, 이것이 다시 적응유연성에 부정적 영향을 미치는 간접효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구결과를 통해 이론적, 실천적, 정책적 함의를 제안하였다. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between depression and resilience in late life of widowhood. To achieve this purpose, a survey was conducted, and this sample was based on 200 widow and widower aged over 65 living in K city, Jeollabuk-Do. A sampling method was the snowball sampling using face to face interview, and an analysis method was the structural equation modeling. The main results testified by this study are as follows; First, the positive function of social support had direct and positive effects on the resilience, while the depression had directly impacted on resilience. Second, it was confirmed that the social support mediated the association between depression and resilience. This study theoretically contributes to the existing literatures documenting the impact of depression on resilience of subjects, as verifying mechanism of social support that have not been previously demonstrated in an empirical way. Not only that, but this study suggests practical and politic implication through these results.

본 연구는 노인을 대상으로 사회자본과 삶의 만족도의 관계를 살펴보고, 둘의 관계에서 임파워먼트가 갖는 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전라북도 14개 시·군에 거주하는 65세 이상노인 500명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 408명의 응답을 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0 통계프로그램을 활용하여 최종 분석 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 노인의 사회자본이 삶의 만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인의 사회자본에 대한 인식이 높을수록 임파워먼트가 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 노인의 임파워먼트가 높을수록 삶의 만족이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 노인의 사회자본은 임파워먼트를 매개로 삶의 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 노인의 사회자본을 형성하여 새로운 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 하여 임파워먼트를 향상시켜 삶의 만족도를 높일 수 있도록 실천적·정책적 함의를 제시하였다. The purpose of this study is to identify the association between social capital and life satisfaction among elders, examining the mediation role of empowerment. Among 414 original responses, 408 participants were included in the final analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. According to the results, social capital showed direct effects on the level of life satisfaction. Secondly, it was confirmed that higher awareness of social capital was associated with higher levels of empowerment. Thirdly, it was found that higher levels of empowerment were associated with greater life satisfaction. Lastly, it was found that social capital had a positive effect on life satisfaction through empowerment. The results of the current study highlights practical implications for future support on elderly population. Practical and political efforts are suggested to assist elders form social capital, to ultimately increase empowerment for greater quality of life. The results support and expand the current literature to clarify the association between social capital, satisfaction in life and impact of elderly population. Detailed implications and future research directions are discussed.
