commercial vehicles(bus, truck, etc…) generally use 24 voltage power systems. This power system consist of 28V alternator and 24V battery module (serial connected two 12V batteries). Various electronic equipments have being installed in cars to meet the needs of customers who seek The vehicle"s comfort, convenience and safety. This trend is growing and commercial vehicles is same. In case of commercial vehicles(express buses) especially use 24V battery and have expensive AMP and audio system for user’s comfort. However it need 12 voltage power to use general AMP and audio systems which is developed for cars. It isn’t worth to develope 24V AMP and audio systems to solve this problem, considering the demand for commercial vehicles. One of the other options is power conversion to 12 voltage using DCDC converter. This way is very simple solution without changes in general AMP and audio systems. Anyway, Relays is included in DC-DC converter to reduce dark current and work for protection functions. But The inrush current which flow into the converter at initial operation is one of the factors to depress durability of the converter. This circuit aims to make limited inrush current at initial operation in the converter.
