      • 생물시료중의 다이옥신 분석에 관한 연구

        The experimental was performed to establish the analytical method of dioxin in biological samples which used three kinds of meat samples, and the real samples were applied to make sure the established method in terms of average recovery, RRF and %RSD using HRGC/HRMS (High Resolution gas Chromatograpy/High Resolution Mass Spectrometry). As the result of analyzing the samples, the average recovery range was surveyed between 85% and 94%, 0.8104∼1.4180 for RRF and 0.20-5.14% for %RSD The 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF, 1,2,3,4,7,8-HxCDF, 1,2,3,6,7,8-HxCDF, 1,2.3,4,6,7,8-HpCDF, 2,3,7,8-TCDD, 1,2,3,4,6,7,8-HpCDD and OCDD mainly detected, therefore the higher chlorinated PCDDs/PCDFs compounds were mainly concentrated in the surveyed meat samples.

        This study was investigated the Korean official soil test method and the international various methods for PCBs in PCBs waste containing waste samples. The official waste test method and other two methods(EPA 8082, ISO 61619) were applied to the waste samples using quantification methods of peak matching and individual isomers. The total 5 waste samples were selected by consideration and then analyzed using GC/ECD and GC/MSD.

      • 폐자원 재활용 제품 시멘트의 유해성평가

        Analytical results of nine kinds of cement were evaluated to proposed the management of recycling products. In this study, the concentrations of six different heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cu, As, Hg, Cr(VI)) analyzed to evaluate the hazardous property and proposed the recycling products management. In the results of leaching test, portland cement samples did not exceed the regulation criteria. The average concentration of Cr(VI) detected in the range of 0.012∼11.665 mg/kg. The comparison of average detected concentration with proposed criteria represented the ratio of 0.007∼0.315, and the highest ratio is Cr(VI). Also the comparison of maximum detected concentration represented the ratio of 0.015∼1.026, and As from one sample is exceed the proposed criteria. In the future, to effective recycling products management is gradually necessary to expand the hazardous substances such as Cr(VI), As and so on.

      • 폐유 중 PCBs 분석법 비교

        Two waste oil which is a main source of PCBs emission into the environment was analyzed. The analytical methods were compared by the Korean waste test method, US EPA 8082 method and Canada 1/RM/31 method. Extracted solution were quantified with a gas chromatograph equipped with an electron capture detector(ECD), utilizing HP-5 column(30 m× 0.32 mm i.d.). The quantification methods of peak matching were compared using the Aroclor 1242, 1248, 1254 and 1260 as a standards. Practical quantification limits analyzed by these methods were 0.05 mg/L. The recovery of all samples were between 76 and 86.5%. The waste oil contained the pure Aroclor 1242, 1254, 1260 and their mixture. The analytical results using three analytical method showed a little difference values.

        Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and furans(PCDDs/PCDFs) are commonly known as dioxins and as one class of the persistant organic pollutants. They are known to accumulated in environmental and biological system. We select a Carassius auratus as a fresh water fish samples in the stream flowing near the municipal solid waste landfill area to investigate the PCDDs/PCDFs concentration. Also, we determined the TEQs of PCDDs/PCDFs.

      • 열탈착장치(ATD-400)를 이용한 환경시료 중의 휘발성 오존 전구물질의 분석

        The ATD-400/GC(FID) method was performed to analyse the volatile ozone precursors in landfill ambient samples. The average recovery ranges surveyed between 92.2% and 118.8% using 50ppb standard, and %RSD surveyed between 0.29% and 6.95%. This method can be applied to analyse the volatile ozone precursors because the compound can be analyzed the ppb levels. Some peaks were overlapped, therefore the analytical conditions have to studied to get the good peak separation by considering the column length, temperature and flow rate and so on.

      • 하수처리장 주변 토양에 대한 과불화화합물의 잔류특성

        In this study, to investigate pollution level of PFCs of 12 chemical compounds in soil, samples were collected in sewage treatment plant and waste water treatment plant basin soil. The concentration range of PFOA and PFOS was presented as N.D.∼2.04 ng/g-dry wt. N.D.∼1.70 ng/g-dry wt. and 12 chemical compounds were almost N.D. investigated. The concentration range of PFOA N.D.∼23.27 ng/g-dry wt PFOS N.D.∼2.10 ng/g-dry wt. and outside of that compounds were almost N.D. investigated in sewage treatment plant and waste water treatment plant basin soil.

      • 전자제품 폐기물중에 함유된 브롬화난연제 분석

        In this study, we analyzed Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) contained in refrigerator components of 57 and TV covers of 32 from recycling center in Korea. The PBDEs concentrations in refrigerator components ranged from N.D. to 320,259.73 (as average 5,765.61) mg/kg (manufactured in 1989∼1996), which indicated that the concentrations of PBDE in refrigerator were various depend on components. The result of the contentation of refrigerator by year, product made in 1992, showed a high level, but drops thereafter and then showed similar levels. Concentration of compressor cover is highest among the components of refrigerator, the maximum 1990.65 mg/kg was detected. In the front covers of A company, 21.87∼627.45 (as average 118.22) mg/kg of PBDEs were detected and in the back covers, 70.75∼2,149.14 (as average 580.91) mg/kg were detected. In products of B company, the concentration of front cover and back cover were in range of 17.61∼5,804.54 (as average 1136.07) mg/kg and 206.81∼218,084.77 (as average 76,621.73) mg/kg respectively, the PBDEs concentration in back cover is higher than those of front cover. By comparing isomer patterns of PBDEs obtained from the products, it is assumed that three PBDEs comercial products were used in plastic of the refrigerator and deca-BDEs was used mainly in TV. Based on the concentration characteristics of PBDEs in waste electrical and electronic equipment, it is necessary to survey on other products and establish the sound management plan in order to prevent the product containing PBDEs to be recycled.

      • 고체상 추출법을 이용한 미량유기오염물질의 분석

        In this research, the solid phase extraction (SPE) is used to effectively pretreat the semi-organic pollutant such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. In the case of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, the high recovery are obtained in the C_(18) cartridge(79%), but the distinct point is not find in the three types of cartridge. In the recovery of solvent, the selected solvents (dichloromethane, acetone:hexane, hexane, acetone) except for methanol were satisfied to the detecting limits of EPA 625 method.
