This research studied mist metal-working process oil's manufacture and performance experiment. This is product for MQL system that use cold-air of new processing of a metal technology. MQL processing method is sprinkling lubrication oil with high speed in microscopic mist state in processing point, that can improve lubrication performance and processing performance and minimize amount used processing method. Advantage of this processing method is worker’s health protection and improvement of working environment, effect of economy of expenditure. But, various kinds problem of depression of existent vegetable oil, liquid Paraffin, Fatty acid Ester is happening with low temperature flow performance and lubrication performance problem. In this research, use Linear Alpha Olefin Oligomers and Base acid ester mixture by base oil. And made product of good performance because using function improvement admixture of minimum quantity. Choose correct item to product and executed a performance experiment. Showed good performance than mist metal-working process oil that do test result, Fatty acid ester by base oil.

The effect of oxidation in SAE 5W20(5W30) engine oils on friction and wear characteristics was investigated using reciprocating bench tester and shell 4-ball tester. Four commercial engine oils were collected and oxidized using the KS M 2021 method modifying the oxidation time. Kinematic viscosity, total acid number(TAN), and total base number(TBN) also measured to examine the chemical change of oils with oxidation. The results showed that kinematic viscosity and TAN were slightly changed during the initial oxidation stage, however, TBN linearly decreased with oxidation time. Friction test results showed that oxidation of oils formed unstable friction layers causing higher fluctuating friction, however, the wear resistance was independent of oxidized time due to the different friction characteristics of intermediate products by oxidation.
