This paper describes the characteristic feather of propulsion system adopting mass production. The train formation is composed of 4 cars by 2 Motor cars and 2 Train cars. Acceleration rate must be 3.0 ㎞/h/s or more when the car starts up to 35㎞/h by 16ton of passenger load. The system information supervision is easy because the system is controlled to perfect digital circuits, all information of an action is stored in a memory and is managed. The control system is composed of a fully digital circuit and a high level software such as C language. The DSP TMS320C31 is used for main processor and has the capability of 50㎒, 32bit floating point operation and has a C compiler. Therefore, the implementation of control algorithm and the change of function are easy. VVVF inverter using IGBT conducted variable combined test, environment test using chamber, interface test and field test etc.

It often happens that the position indication of EMU(Electric Multiple Unit) is not possible from a malfunction of specified components by a factor of flow such as harmonic current at a track occupied circuit. Especially, a common frequency factor can be included at the return current generated during operation of propulsion system because DC input voltage is inputted from rectifier via transformer and it is easy to have a malfunction of a component (relay) has a factor of the common frequency as an operating source. Here, current detected through using and extra current transformer and sensing circuit to measure the return current when operating can be extracted into the current of common frequency by "Algorithm for extracting the factor of specified frequency" on the propulsion system of DC line voltage applied to EMU. It has the purpose that is to minimize a malfunction of the relay in track occupied circuit as applying real time monitoring and protection logic by setting a criterion level.

300km/h 속도로 주행하며 검측할 고속 검측차용 궤도 검측 모듈을 개발함에 있어서 목표 성능을 적절하고 명확히 수립하는 것은 기본적이며 중요한 일이다. 궤도 검측 모듈은 보다 하위 단위로는 궤도 틀림 검측 모듈, 레일 마모 및 프로파일 측정 모듈, 레일표면 및 침목, 체결구 결함 탐지 모듈 및 선로 순회 점검 모듈로 구성된다. 본 논문은 각 세부 모듈 레벨에서 개발 목표가 되는 기준으로서, EN13848-2를 비롯한 국제 규격, 우리나라 유지보수 지침 및 앞으로 경쟁 상대가 될 타 해외 선진 검측 장비 제작사들의 사양을 검토하고 벤치마킹하여 수립한 궤도 검특 모듈 개발 목표 성능에 대하여 기술한다. It is basic and important works to establish the target performances in the project of developing the high-speed(300km/h) track measuring & inspection modules. The track measuring & inspection modules is consist of, as a unit component, the track geometry measuring module, rail profile measuring module and rail surface/sleeper/fastener inspection module. This paper describes the performances, as a developing targets of the track measuring and inspection modules, established by reviewing the EN13848-2 and Korea’s maintenance regulations, and by bench marking the already developed oversea’s products which will be competitors of ours in the future.

기존에 운행되는 중량전철은 천문학적인 예산이 투입되고, 수송량이 많을 경우 유용하나 수송량이 상대적으로 적은 지방 소도시는 중량전철을 적용하기에 비용의 문제가 있다. 또한 현재 전력소비량이 날로 증가하여 국가적인 차원에서 전력수급이 문제가 되고 있으며 에너지의 효율적인 사용이 점점 중요시 되고 있는 시점이다. 무가선 저상 트램은 건설비용의 절감, 에너지의 재사용, 편안한 승하차 등의 장점으로 기존 중량 전철의 문제점을 극복할 새로운 교통수단으로 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 리튬 - 폴리머를 활용한 무가선 저상 트램에 적용된 추진제어시스템을 소개하고자 한다. Exsiting mass rapid transit needs too much astronomical budget and it is useful in case transported volume is large, but It is a waste of money to apply to local towns that has small transport of volume. Also at the state level, increasing power consumption and power supply are the problem, so efficient use of energy is increasingly important in the present. The advantages of low-floor trams that has advantage of reduce construction costs, the reuse of energy, comfortable rides, etc has emerged as a new transportation to overcome the problems of the existing train. In this paper, we introduce a propulsion system using lithium-polymer is applied to a non-catenary low-floor tram.

This paper presents the performance and test results of propulsion system which is met the requirements of urban MAGLEV. The design of propulsion system should be considered the effect of attractive force by the magnetic levitation and train running resistance. In this paper, the tractive and braking thrust are calculated and the train performance is simulated for the service track. Finally the test results of complete car are shown to verify the performance.
