Nowadays, Due to the recent instability in global oil prices, the convention of climate change, and greenhouse gas emissions, the international regulations on the use of energy, have been strengthened. At this time, energy-saving plan cannot solve the fundamental energy problem. Therefore, it is necessary to diversify the energy supply source by shifting the energy source from fossil energy to renewable energy, as well as practicing energy saving. The purpose of this study the limitations of the geothermal cooling & heating system which is the most close to the practical use in the perspective of initial investment costs and energy efficiency, among renewable energies, were perceived; and to solve this problem, the characteristic of energy consumption of the case in which the geothermal hybrid system, recently being introduced, has been applied, has been carried out.
신선기보탕(神仙氣步湯)이 Collagen Ⅱ 유발관절염(誘發關節炎)의 발생 및 치료에 미치는 영향

Objectives: Cytokines play key roles in spontaneous autoimmune arthritis in CIA(collagen induced arthritis) mice, a model of rheumatoid arthritis. The object of study is to evaluate the effect of IL-6, TNF-α on development of collagen induced arthritis, on humoral and cellular immunity and on the endogenous production of IL-6, TNF-α in DBA/1J mice. Methods: DBA/1J mice were immunized with 100㎍ bovine type II collagen in 0.1㎖ Freund`s complete adjuvant. There are three groups in this study, Which are wild type(WT), CIA-control and CIA-SSKBT(350㎎/㎏). Levels of anti-collagen antibodies, serum IL-6 and TNF-α were measured at the end of study. At week 6, CIA-control group developed arthritis while CIA-SSKBT group showed far less incidence and severity of arthritis. Result and Conclusions: This study shows that SSKBT inhibits inflammatory effect of IL-6, TNF-α.
대학건물의 에너지 소비구조 분석을 통한 신재생에너지 적용 시 에너지 저감효과 연구

In the world, the energy consumption tends to be continuously increasing. If such situation is continued, it is obvious that we will encounter a serious crisis which is the energy depletion in the near future. In order to prevent this crisis in advance, it is necessary to put efforts in diversifying energy sources from the existing fossil fuel to renewable energy, and also reducing energy consumption. The total energy consumption of Korea in 2011 was 275.7 million TOE, increased 4.5% compared with the previous year. Considering the consumption structure for each energy consumption sector, the energy consumed in the building sector is more than 20% of the total. Among them, the energy consumption of university building sector is continuously increasing while the energy efficiency per unit area is gradually decreasing. In order for energy reduction of university buildings that accounts for 13.6% of the energy consumption for domestic building sector, this study aims to suggest the application measures of efficient renewable energy source with the same initial investment cost to reduce power consumption which is the main energy source for university buildings, by analyzing the current condition of energy consumption and energy consumption structure for university buildings.

Various forms of disinfection or sterilization used in the early must have been empirical, based on experience, tradition and after superstition, and they must have been developed in entire ignorance of the theories of sterilization. Although several thousands of years later our approachh to sterilization or disinfection is much more rational, our knowledge of the fundamental theories and processes remain far from complete. It is still true to say that we understand only a very small part of the activities of bacteria. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of thermoradiation on Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 10145, Staphylococcus aureus 29, Escherichia coli 0111, Bacillus subtilis ATCC 6633, Salmonella typhimurium, using electronic range (RE-515-W 0. 53 cu. ft. ) The rate of inactivation of these culture was exponential and in direct proportion to temperature. Significant synergism between heat and irradiation was noted 70℃ above. The combined effect of heat and high frequency wave was more destructive to bacteria than heat alone 70℃ above.
